"Ok!" I say to Jughead as I pull out my phone and press record.
Today is Jughead's birthday, I know he doesn't like birthdays but I guarantee you he'll love this one!
"Betty, why are you filming me?" He says.
"I want to remember your reaction!" I smiling.
I pull out a blue and pink wrapped present and hand it to him
"Nice colour choice" He laughs. "Open it!" I nudge him.
" Ok, ok! I'm opening it"
He begins to open it to reveal a black shirt turned over so he couldn't see the front. "Wow, a black shirt! Just what I wanted" His voice drips with sarcasm.
"Flip it over" I playfully hit his arm.
He flips over the shirt. I can see a look of confusion cross his face as he reads it. A look of shock crosses his face as he fully comprehends what the shirt says.
Jughead turns to me
"Gonna be a dad?" He smiles "Are you serious?"
I nod, smiling back at him. He looks at my stomach
"I'm gonna be a dad!" He yells excitedly.
He stands and pulls me into a tight hug.
"I'm gonna be a dad" He whispers.
"Yea. Yea, you are" I say, wrapping my arms tighter around him.
He pulls away and kisses me.
He puts a gentle hand on my stomach and smiles once more
"We're gonna be parents," He says with tears in his eyes. He hugs me again
"Best birthday ever" He whispers.
