Betty and Archie were together. That's just a fact. Were they in love? No, well at least Betty didn't love him. She was with him but she didn't love him.

Betty was totally and utterly in love with Jughead Jones, and Jughead was totally and utterly in love with her.

She needed to break up with Archie. She knew she did. She promised Jughead she would. She just didn't know how.

And here she was, sitting with Archie in Pops, drinking a milkshake. They were sitting across from each other, not talking much. They never had anything to talk about.

"How's the Blue and Gold?" Archie asked, Betty had recently joined the schools newspaper, mainly as a way to hang out with Jughead without Archie questioning her, she also loved writing, of course.

"Oh, it's great. I'm working on a new story right now" Betty replied.

She looked at the door as the bells chimed, signalling that someone had walked in. She made eye contact with his dangerous blue eyes

"Hey guys" Jughead said, walking over to them.

Archie waved at Jughead "Hey"

Jughead sat beside Betty, close beside her, not that Archie could tell. He just thought they're really good friends.

"What are you guys doing here?" Jughead asked.

"Just hanging out" Archie said "we hang out a lot"

"Yea, we do" Betty nodded, she always thought their hang outs were boring, she preferred hanging out with Jughead

Jughead's hand was close to Betty's thigh, not that she knew that.

Archie takes a sip of his milkshake casually, having no idea what's going on with Betty and Jughead, she hadn't broken up with him yet.

Jughead puts his hand on Betty's thigh, causing her to blush immediately. Archie looks at her confused "You ok, Betty?"

She nods "Y-Yea I'm good"

Jughead smirks only slightly, running his hand up and down her thigh,it makes Betty blush even more then before, as much as she's trying not to.

Archie's still looking at her confused "seriously your all red, are you ok?"

"Yea, I'm good. I'm just hot" she replied, then looked at Jughead who's still smirking.

"Ok, well I gotta go to the bathroom, I'll be back"

Both Betty and Jughead nodded as he left. Once he was out of sight, she turned to Jughead "you do know he was right there? He could have figured it out"

"Live dangerously or don't live at all" He replied "wheres the fun in following all the rules?"

She sighed and nodded "yea that's true" She was trying to drop the goody two shoes thing but it was hard. She had been acting that way her whole life

He gave her thigh a squeeze, causing her to jump a little, then he smirked "You're so cute"

"Shut up"

"It's just the truth"

She looks around, making sure no one could see them before she pressed her lips to his in a quick kiss.

He smirked more when they pulled away "Well aren't you a bad girl?" He said.

"I can be even badder" She never acted this way in front of anyone but Jughead. He's the only one who knew this side of her

"Oh can you?"

"Definitely"

"I'll have to find out soon"

"Ok. Sounds good"

"And bad. Good and Bad always go together"

She nodded in agreement "that they do"
