"Notorious Slytherin bad-boy Draco Malfoy has a thing for muggle-born war hero Hermione Granger, reports Rita Skeeter. The pair were sighted together yesterday at a small café in Central London, where they enjoyed an in depth conversation and occasional bubble of laughter. Are they a thing? When posed with this question as they left the café, they dismissed the claims, saying that it was strict Ministry business. Of course, it is no news that Granger has been asked to write a report on 'the real Malfoy', but with the month deadline running out quickly, could the pair be spending more time together, and could this lead to hidden feelings between them? They already seem to be on a first-name basis, and, considering the hatred fuelled between them during their school years at Hogwarts, could this be the first sign in their budding romance?"
She threw the paper down at his feet.
"You said she wouldn't write anything."
"I'm sorry."
"No you're not."
"Hermione-"
"No. Draco, I've had enough of this. I don't want rumours. I want people to know the truth or not at all."
"How do you know I don't want that too?"
"I'm sorry."
"No you're not."
"I hate you."
"I love you too."
That was the closest he had ever gotten to an 'I love you.' from her. He made a weak attempt to grab her hand, but she pulled it away.
"I have an article to write." She gave him one last patronising, sympathetic look, and walked over to her bedroom, slamming the door shut.
Draco watched her leave, feeling a tear well up in his eye. Letting it fall down his cheek, he picked up the newspaper, and read the rest of the article, which took up most of the front page, and inside there were three pages devoted to pictures of the pair. He took a pair of scissors and cut out four that he particularly liked.
Tucking them inside his pocket, he cut out one more picture. This one was of them walking out of the café. It was the happiest he had ever seen her. He fought back the tears that were trying to escape, and wrote on a piece of scrap paper,
'I want them to know.'
He placed the note and the picture on the coffee table, and left for his own bedroom.

"Laura?...Yes, I'm fine. Look, you know that article that I'm meant to be writing...Well, I don't think I can do it any more...I'm sorry...I understand...How am I meant to know! Tell them that it was a scam or something...I don't care what Anna will say, I can't write it...No. I'm not putting myself through that...Nothing! I haven't written anything!...I know I've only got three days left...No, I don't plan on talking to anyone about it...Maybe...Laura, if I tell you he will kill me...Fine!...Yes...Laura!...If she finds out she won't let me write the article, you know her...Okay, don't be too obvious though Laura...Alright, I'll speak to you later...Bye Laura."
She put down the phone. The paper that had been lying on her desk for the last three weeks was still bare, showing only the title 'Draco Malfoy; The truth behind it all'. She slid it into her drawer and walked out of the room.
The flat was surprisingly empty, although she hadn't heard him leave. She went to collect the mugs that he had left on the coffee table, when something caught her eye.
A picture of them. A real life picture of them that moved. She picked it up, then noticed a scrawl next to it on paper.
'I want them to know.'

I'm sorry this is so short. I'm having a hard time writing this story, and I've got end of key stage exams coming up this week at school so I've not had a lot of time to write anything. please vote and comment about your opinions x
