-New Waterfall, Kurse and Toriel's home, 1:30 AM-

Kurse looked up at the stars, deep in thought. His nightmare/memory had...shaken him. (How long has it been?) He thought to himself, (Since I killed my own kind...how long since I felt this anguish...and sadness?) He was stuck in his own thoughts for a long time, soon he heard footsteps approach behind him. "Kurse?" Said a familiar if tired voice, Kurse turned around to see Toriel standing behind him wearing her nightgown. "Oh, sorry Tori." Kurse apologized, "I didn't mean to wake you up." "Another nightmare?" Toriel asked concern in her voice, Kurse sighed. "More of a memory..." he said solemnly, "One I wish I could forget..." Toriel knew which memory he was talking about and pulled Kurse into a hug. "You did what you had to, K." She said soothingly, "As you've said, you had no choice." "Then why doesn't that make me feel better?" Kurse asked, Toriel put her hand on Kurse's cheek and kissed him. "It was just a memory Kurse." She said, Kurse smiled. "Hard to believe that it's been two years already." He said, Toriel nodded before heading back into the two's shared room. Kurse then turned to the night sky and smiled. After awhile he looked at the ring on his finger. "Yeah..." he said to himself, "A lot can happen in two years." He then left the balcony he was on, and followed his wife back, ready to give sleep one more try.

-The next day, The City, 7:00 AM-

Frisk and Toriel were on their way to the School of Gifted Children. Frisk was a student, and Toriel had become a teacher there. 'Have a good day, mom!' Frisk signed, 'I'm heading to class.' Toriel knelt down and hugged Frisk. "Have a good day, my child." She said, Frisk gave Toriel an enthusiastic thumbs up, and headed to their class. On the way there, they noticed the resident school bullies (who are too minor to name) were picking on a girl with pink highlights in her hair. Frisk stepped in front of the girl, and conjured up a Soul Shield. 'Back off.' They signed, "H-hey boss, that's Frisk, we better clear out." One of the bullies stammered, "Fine, but this ain't over freak!" The leader of the three spat at the girl, as they left the girl behind Frisk gave them a thankful hug. "T-thank you." She said, 'No problem, I'm Frisk, what's your name?' Frisk signed, "B-Betty." Betty introduced herself, "I've heard of you Frisk, you helped monsterkind escape the Underground!" Frisk rubbed the back of their neck. 'Well, my dad helped me out a lot.' They signed truthfully, 'I just helped keep everyone's spirits up.' "Still, That's incredible." Betty said, "But I won't keep you, you probably have more important things to do..." she sounded...sad saying that. 'My dad always said, having friends makes life worth living.' Frisk signed, 'Betty. Would you like to be my friend?' Betty's face immediately lit up with a smile. "Really!?" She exclaimed happily, 'Really really.' Frisk signed, Betty was currently the happiest she'd ever been, she finally made a friend! Suddenly her hairpin transformed into a pink...thing. and startled Frisk a bit. "Kumu, don't be mean to Frisk." She said scoldingly, Frisk had a curious glint in their eyes. 'What is that? He's awesome!' They signed curiously, "This is Akumu, until I met you he was my only friend. I call him Kumu for short." Betty explained, "He's...a little overprotective." Unbeknownst to the two new friends, a creature was following them. "Soon, Kurse." The creature said darkly, "Soon." The being then slinked back into the shadows. As something or rather someone from Kurse's past had returned. "History will repeat itself." It monologued,

'Insert dramatic music here' yeah, so Kurse and Toriel are married, I thought about it and decided fuck it, let's do the thing. Anyway comment, rate and leave advice so I can improve, next time, Kurse, Sans and Alphys run into some black Amalgmates, and Toriel finds a rising Nightmare!
