Chapter Four

Time to learn something new, I walked into class following everyone to our normal spots. The classroom still gave me this really creepy vib, kinda when your in a horror movie or an action movie and something bad is about to go down, and everything looks more like your in the future, well that's what this room feels like.
I sat down as the teacher joined us. " welcome back class " he smiled.
" I would like everyone to hand in there homework please " he added.
I got up when Samuel stopped me, " could you take mine down for me? " he asked.
" sure " I smiled.
" Vivian can you take mine to? " Blake asked.
I turned around a looked at him, " Really?, sure i'll take it down, after you start being nice to me " I could feel the anger radiating off of him, he was going to explode, but I continued to walk down to the front of the room ignoring it all. I placed the two papers in a garbage shoot thing, sending them to Mr.Crash. I walked back up to my spot when Blake was starting to walking down, I sat back down.
" you ok? " Samuel leaned over.
" yeah " I nodded.
" i'm assigning all of you to come up with something to write about, a paper will need to be handed in in the next two weeks, about whatever you chose, get brainstorming " he signed off.
The room filled with chatter, as friends talked amongst friends about ideas, I sat there and tapped my pen on a notebook, no ideas were coming to my head, it hit me.
I quickly wrote down, why is love banded?. Blake looked at my paper and rolled his eyes, I ignored him and wrote down all my ideas that were coming to my head.
" what are you doing? " Samuel asked looking down at my page.
" why is love banded " I said.
" cool idea " he nodded.
" what are you doing? " I asked.
" something about sport probably " he said.
" interesting " I said.

We walked out of class, " hey are you coming to the library with us? " Quinn asked.
" no I can't I have to go to the control room " I said.
" ok well see you later " Winny smiled.
They all walked away from me and into the library, I walked in the other direction.
I knocked on the door.
" hey Vivian right? " Dave asked.
" yeah " I smiled.
" sorry about how far away the control room is, but I have been really needing help so, let's get you started " he smiled.
" ok " I said.
We sat down a a table of computers.
" ok so the computers should always be logged in, you can do homework here too, but that's for another time " he said.
" anyways, this button is for the bell to tone and to open the doors, just press it on the hours listed after school " he added.
" sounds easy enough " I said.
" you can see where everyone is going, if you see something weird just press this button and i'll come and check it out " he said.
" ok I think I go it, so green button doors and bell, blue button for you to come " I said.
" yup that's right " he smiled.
" great " I smiled.
" so the weekends and wednesday could you come work after 2, to dinner? " he asked.
" yeah sure, I got it " I smiled.
" great so i'll see you tomorrow because it's the weekend " he said.
" oh yeah I totally forgot it was the weekend " I said.
" you can go join your friends now " he smiled.
" thanks " I smiled back getting up and walking back down the long hallway. It was almost 3 so I just decided to go back to the room.
I opened the door and placed my notebook on my desk, I went into the bathroom and brushed threw my knotted hair, the door opened and Quinn walked in.
" how'd it go? " she asked.
" really good I have to be there tomorrow " I smiled.
" that's great " she smiled.
" but remember no snooping " she said.
" don't worry I know, I will not be a little childish girl anymore, I will be indepent and understand that something's should not be found out " I nodded.
" great " she smiled.
" now, Quinn did you think about what I said yesterday? " I asked.
" no I didn't and I never will because I see Winny as a friend, ok ".
" your going to regret that choice " I smircked.
" what are you planning? " she asked.
" oh nothing, why would I be planning anything " I said.
" even though I haven't known you for a while I know your planning something " she said.
" i'm not planning anything trust me now should we be doing are homework " I smiled sitting down at my desk and folding my hands together.
" your a sneaky one for a 15 year old " she said eyeing me as she sat down at her desk. I looked down at my notebook and studied it, after a couple second I opened it and started to write a rough draft for the paper.
Quinn tapped her pencil on her desk, I looked over to see that she had stopped, but the noise still rang in my ears. Was that what I sounded like in class today, wow I feel bad for Samuel.

The door opened, Quinn and I sauntered down the hallway soon joining everyone at the table for dinner. I was the first one to start eating today, I was starving my stomach was starting to hurt.
" so what are all of you doing for the paper? " Leila asked.
" i'm talking about installing a green room so we can see the outside world " Winny smiled.
" that sounds awesome I really hope the works, but i'm just talking about my fav book " Leila said.
" hey that's what i'm doing " Trevor spock up.
" well I know it's not the same book, so " she said.
" basketball, i'm writing about basketball " Samuel said, slumping down in his chair.
" I don't know what i'm doing yet " Quinn sighed, looking down at her food.
" i'm writing about why love is banned, because I need to know why " I said.
" Blake, what are you doing? " Leila asked leaning over to see his face looking down at his food.
" umm.. Well-" he looked around the room.
" i'm writing about how... how we should have better food choices " he said leaning back.
" you just came up with that right now didn't you? " Samuel said.
" yeah kinda " he sighed looking down at his lap.
" well I think we all are going to ace this project " Leila said.
" Maybe, you never know though " Trevor said, looking down at his new book.
Trevor leaned over to me " it's Harry Potter i've read it 5 time, but it's so good " he whispered in my ear.
" never read it sounds good though " I smiled, digging back into my food.

Dinner was over and I was stuffed.
" hey i'll see you in the room i'm just going to hang out here for a little " Quinn said.
" ok have fun " I got up and walked away from the table, Winny and Leila had already gone back to there room to get ready for the night, they were always the first too to leave.
I walked down the hallway when, I heard a rush of foot spet come closer to me, I looked to my right to see Trevor walking beside me out of breath.
" are you ok? " I asked.
" take it " he said passing me the Harry Potter book.
" why? Your reading it " I said.
" yes but i've read it five times you've never read it, so take it " he said.
" no, a least finish it first " I said.
" no take it now " he insisted.
" fine " I smiled grabbing the book that he was dangling in front of me.
" tell me what you think when your done reading it " he smiled running back to the eating hall, I looked down at the colourful thing in front of me and sighed.
I walked back into the room and sat down on my bed after changing into my pajamas, I opened to the first page of the book and started to read.

I yawned as the door opened and Quinn walked in, the door locked behind her.
" what are you reading? " she asked.
" Harry Potter " I smiled getting back into the book.
" wasn't Trevor reading it? " she asked.
" yeah, he gave it to me because i've never read it " I smiled.
" hu " I looked up at her to see a tiny smirke.
" what? " I asked setting down the book.
" nothing " she said walking into the bathroom, I followed after her.
" that was not nothing " I said.
" really it's nothing " I smirked again.
" ok, i'm keeping my eyes on you " I said walking backwards to my bed.
" come on you made me lose my page! " I yelled at her.
" ha-ha " she laughed.
I sat back down after finding my page, I started to read again my eyes slowly started to close, leaving me mid read and asleep
