Love sickness

Chapter Twenty

My eyes opened, it was dark I couldn't see anything, was I dead? Where was I?
I felt a bump, ok no i'm in truck, I tried to stand up, I fell over as the truck came to a stop. The two back door opened, a flash of light, my eyes squinted, they opened to see someone standing there, they walked over to me and jabbed another needle in my arm, my eyes closed again.

What was happening? Was I going to die? Where were my friends? I needed my friends with me, I didn't know what I was going to do, I don't know what i'm going to do, I was nervous, I bet I was shaking in fear where ever I was. I couldn't feel anything, was I brain dead, no I was alive, I couldn't be dead.

I opened my eyes, my head was tilted back, I was looking into a light, I looked to my left then my right, I sat up to see my friends threw a pain of glass in the wall, all of them were tied to a chair. I tried to get up to run to the glass, I couldn't move, I looked down to see my arms tied to the chair and a bandaid on my arm.
" I wouldn't try and escape " I looked up to see Nick walk into the room.
" what did you do? " I asked as I was shaking.
" I took your blood " he said leaning over so we were face to face.
" now, your friends in there are going to stop loving for ever " he said, he walked over to the door.
" Nick please don't do this " I said.
" it's too late " he said
" Nick you have parents right? " I asked as his hand was on the door handle.
" yeah of course " he turned around.
" what was your first word? " I asked.
" dad " I saw the sadness in his eyes.
" what is this supposed to doing with anything? " he asked.
" your father was killed right? " I asked.
" how do you know that? " he asked.
" I saw the look in your eyes where you said your first word was dad, he was killed because he loved your mom and you never want that to happen to anyone else so you want to get rid of love forever " I said.
" but i'm living proof that anyone can love, you people sent me to a place where I was surrounded by love everyday, before going there I didn't even know what it was, but I learned " I paused.
" and I know that even if I can't feel love, but I have it deep inside me wanting to get out and so do you I know it, so I ask again please don't do this " I said looking him right in the eyes.
" please " I said again, he looked down at the needle, then dropped it on the ground.
" let her go " he said.
Two men came and untied me, I stood up slowly making sure nothing was going to happen, " are you sure? " I asked.
" yes.... Go to your friends " he said, I walked over to the door he was standing in front of, he moved out of the way.
I was about to walk thru when I stopped, I turned to look at Nick, " thank you " I smiled, I gave him a hug and walked back thru the door.
I ran over to Trevor and untied him, I tapped him on the knee.
" hey, hey get up " I said, he opened his eyes slowly, he stood up fast and started to push me away.
" Vivian! You, you have to get out of here there going to hurt you " he said.
" no no everythings fine now, I stopped them everything ok, i'm ok " I said.
" how, how did- " I stopped him, " i'll explain later " I said.
I looked over at everyone else and back at Trevor, " I love you " I said.
" what? " he asked.
" I love you " I said again.
" i've loved you since I laid eyes on you " he smiled.

We untied everyone else, they almost had the same reaction that Trevor did.
" I don't understand how? " Quinn asked.
" i'm going to tell all of you later " I said.
Nick walked into the room, " i'm sorry " he said.
" what you did was wrong- " Trevor started talking, but I stopped him.
" you can repay all of us, by bring us back to my hometown and giving me all of the blood you took " I said.
" ok " he said.
I looked back at everyone as he walked out of the room.
" he's scared of you now " Trevor said.
" I made him realize that he has love somewhere in him and I know he wouldn't want it taken away from him and I can be scary sometimes " I smiled.
" no you can't " Blake said, I punched him in the arm.

We got into a car, even thought I was only 15 Nick let me drive, I didn't want him taking us anywhere we didn't want to go, I still didn't trust him that much.

We pulled up to my house.
" your ready for this? " Winny asked, I nodded.
I got out of the car and saw my brother and aunt watching t.v in the living room, I took a deep breath before knocking on the door.
" i'll get it " I heard Jack say.
He opened the door, " Vivian " he said with a big smile on his face, before I could say anything be hugged me as tight as possible, my aunt joining the hug.
" how are you back? " he asked.
I turned around to see my friends standing by the car, " it's a long story, and my friends are a part of it " I smiled at them.
Why do people love if there's a 50/50 chance of not being loved back. The answer to that is not because it's the way we live, the answer is we're attracted to that person and we can't ever stop how we feel even if we don't know what we feel.
There is still one more question I need answered, who was Nick working for, I knew they would still be looking for me and I knew that I was going to get out of this alive and they weren't.
