Chapter Ten

    I was up early, I was so excited for this dance, I walked over to Quinn who was still sleeping, I tapped her on the shoulder, " hey get up " I said.
    " what? " she asked rolling over rubbing her eyes.
    " lets go get food, we have the dance today " I smiled.
    She sat up and placed her feet on the ground, " someone's excited, do you have a date or something? " she asked.
    " remember, never going to feel love " I walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth.
    Once we both were ready, we walked down to the Eating Hall.
    " everyone ready to dance tonight? " Samuel asked as we arrived at the table.
    " I don't dance, I jump up and down " I explained.
" ok is everyone ready to dance or jump tonight " Samuel smiled.
" more the ready " Leila smiled.
" I just want to put on my dress and feel fancy " Winny smiled.
" you look fancy all the time " Quinn said.
" awwwww " everyone looked over at Trevor.
" what, i'm a sucker for love " he smiled.
" that's because you've been in love before " I said.
" I guess that's true " Trevor said taking a sip of water.
" tonight The Den is going to look so different i'm so excited " Winny smiled.
" right now in the outside world, it would be snowing " I said.
" maybe it will be snowing at the dance " Samuel smiled.
" that would be amazing " Leila smiled over at Samuel.

We got back into the room, " when are Winny and Leila supposed to come over? " I asked.
" soon " Quinn said.
" are you going to dance with anyone? " she added.
" what no! Not in a romantic way at least i'll just dance with all of you " I smiled.
The door opened, " who's ready to get fancy? " Leila asked, holding a bag of makeup and her dress, well Winny stood there holding her dress and two pairs of shoes.
" let's get fancy " we laughed.
Winny and Quinn were doing there own makeup at the desks.
Leila and I were in the bathroom, " so are you going to dance with anyone? " I asked, as Leila applied something to my face.
" probably not " she said.
" why don't you dance with Samuel " I suggested.
" Maybe " she shrugged.
" so is that a yes? " I asked.
" it's a maybe " she said.
" did I tell you Blake tried to kiss me last night " I said.
" please tell me you didn't kiss him " she stopped and looked at me.
" no way, I slapped him in the face and called him an ass " we laughed.
She opened a plate of light winter colour.
She added blues and whites and slivers, after that she added some mascara.
" done " she smiled taking a step back, I turned to look in the mirror, " I love it, thank you " I smiled giving her a huge.
I walked out to join Winny and Quinn as Leila finished her makeup.
" what are all of you doing for your hair? " I asked.
" no idea yet, but love your makeup " Winny smiled.
" thank, love yours too " I smiled.

By the time we all had our hair done it was almost time for the dance.
Leila got in her dress first, she walked out of the bathroom, wearing this nice fitting dark maroon dress with silver crystals on the top and some small maroon flats, with a light smokey eye. Her hair was up in two small space buns off to the side of her head.
" you look amazing " Winny said.
" thanks, but now it's Quinn turn " she smiled taking her spot on the bed.
Quinn walked out of the bathroom, her dress was short it was orangey red with a small white belt across it, her shoes we high top white running shoes, a light red on her eyes. Her hair was curled even more than it normally is.
" you look great " I smiled.
Winny got up, " guess it's my turn to change " she smiled giving Quinn a kiss on the cheek.
Winny walked out, wearing her gold dress with flowers going up it, it was strapless. Her shoes were gold high tops, makeup amazing gold and brown smokey eye, her hair was in a bun at the tip of her head with some strands staying in front of her face.
" I already told you that I love your dress, but now that your wearing it I love it even more " Quinn smiled. Winny walked over and sat beside her.
" your turn Vivian " Leila said.
I got up and walked into the bathroom, I took one last look at myself before walking out to show everyone.
" wow " Leila said.
" do you like it? " I asked.
" we love it " Quinn smiled.
I walked back into the bathroom and looked at my long off the shoulder silver dress with light up flower at the bottom, my light white and blue smokey eye, my hair was straight down with small braids all in it.
" come on, we should get going " Quinn said.
We walked out of my room and down the hall to The Den.
We walked into the room, I looked around at all the lights, music played, I saw all the boys talking off to the side of the room, Trevor turned and saw us, he tapped the other boys.
They all looked over at us like they had just seen a ghost. We walked over to them.
" are you guys ok, did you see a ghost? " I asked.
" yeah we're fine, just you all look good " Samuel smiled.
" what so we never looked good before " Leila laughed.
" you no what I mean " he smiled again.
Trevor just kept looking over at me.
" Trevor are you ok? " I asked.
" what yeah " he smiled.
A new song started to play, " should we dance? " Leila asked.
After some songs played, a slow song came on.
" Leila go ask Samuel to dance " I said.
" fine " she walked over to him.
I couldn't hear what they were saying, but all of a sudden Samuel looked over at me, I nodded my head yes. Soon him and Leila were dancing.
Quinn pulled Trevor into the hallway, I looked over at them well still swaying side to side, they looked like they were fighting, Trevor was about to walk away when Quinn grabbed his hand, she said something to him, which made him stay in the hallway.
Blake walked over to me, " hey do you want to dance? " he asked.
" no i'm good thank you though, but if you need me i'll be in the hallway " I smiled walking out to Trevor.
" hey is everything ok? I saw you and Quinn " I asked.
" everythings fine " he smiled.
" no it's not I can tell something is going threw your head " I said.
" Quinn has been talking to people alone for days and that last time it look like all of you were having a fight was in The Den " I added.
" so tell me, what are all of you hiding from me? " I asked.
He looked around to make sure no one was coming, " your being- " he was cut off.
" hey why are you guys out here and not in the dance? " Quinn asked.
" we needed so fresh air " I said.
" well come back and dance " she looked over at Trevor.
" yeah we should go back in the dance " Trevor looked over at me and smiled.
We walked back into the dance, what was Trevor going to tell me? What is going on? What was no one telling me?
