Chapter Nineteen

    Blake stayed with me the whole night to make sure I was ok. The next morning I walked down stairs wrapped in a blanket, I walked in the living room.
" and look whos alive, how are you doing? " Winny asked.
" I found out my boyfriend has been working with the watchers, so how do you think? " I smiled.
" I had to ask " she smiled.
I sat down beside Leila, we all were quiet.
" are you sure you all had no idea, he was the one who told you about me, you never suspected anything? " I asked.
" he said it in a way we wouldn't even think about it " Quinn sighed.
" and also the way he said it made us think it had to be a secret " Leila said.
I sat back and crossed my arms, " he had to have a reason " Blake said.
" whole shit " Samuel said.
" what? " Winny asked.
" Vivian where's the book Trevor gave you? " he asked.
" up stairs why? " I asked.
Samuel got up and ran up the stairs, he came back down with the book in his hands.
" the back of the book, didn't he say there was something there " Samuel said passing it to me.
I opened it to the back to see a note addressed to me.
" what is it? " Blake asked.
" a note ".
" are you going to read it? " Leila asked.
" umm...... Yeah " I took a deep breath before opening it.
" it's going to be fine " Winny smiled.

If you're reading this two things have happened, you finished the book, or I told you this was here. Vivian I need you to know the truth, yes i've been working with The Watchers ( the people watching you ), my family was hired by them, I don't know who, but one day my little cousin didn't want to work anymore. So he got taken away, I don't know where he went and he was only 9 at the time. Anyway, I was put to watch the cameras, watching you, without knowing it I started to like you. The tests were coming up and I got taken to The Hole. When I found out you were coming I was scared of how I would react around you. I just needed to tell you. " what does it say? " Quinn asked.
I passed her the note, " wait, he got taken to The Hole because he liked you? " she said.
" yeah " I said leaning over and intertwining my hands.
" that doesn't make sense he told us who he fell in love with " Leila said.
" what was her name? " I asked.
" Nova " Winny answered.
" that was the name of my favorite doll as a child " I said.
My whole mind switched gears, I should have let him explain, but I didn't because I was so mad and wasn't in the right mind state, I didn't want to listen to anything he said to me. I wasn't thinking and now I sent him out with Nick and who knows what he could do for all I know he could hurt him, he could have already hurt him and it would be all my fault.
" what's Nick going to do to him? If he knew that Trevor didn't want to be with him? " I asked.
" we can't worry about that " Blake said.
" I was the one who kicked him out, what is Nick going to do? " I asked again.
" what's done it done we can't do anything now, we don't even know where they are we can't worry about him " Leila said.
" he lied to all of us, yes, but he's still our friend " I said.
" choices were made and we need to stick by them " Samuel said.
" nothing's going to happen to him, he's dealt worse " Samuel added.
I stood up, " this isn't right, we should be going to find him! " I yelled.
" if we do that, it's what Nick wants, he wants you to go looking, and if we do that he going to take you blood " Quinn said.
" so what we just risk Trevor, getting hurt or even worse " I said.
" that's not what we're saying, were saying, if you go anywhere near Nick again he will take your blood and take away any chance of Trevor feeling something towards you " Winny said.
" it's not like all those feelings are going to go away are they? " I asked.
" you didn't read all the documents when you found out, did you? " Leila asked.
" no I didn't " I said taking a deep breath.
" all the feelings you had before go away, you don't even remember the person, even if you weren't in love " she said.
" so I can't do anything to help, is what your saying " I said sitting back down.
" why was I born like this? Why me? Why was I chosen to carry this with me my whole life? " I asked.
" we can't answer that " Blake said.

Hours past. I wasn't going anywhere, I wasn't leaving to find Trevor, I was staying put not leaving the house, I didn't want to hurt anyone more than I already have. I didn't want to stop anyone from loving, I would hate myself forever if that happened.
I was sitting up in the room, everyone else was down stairs. I kept rereading the note from Trevor. I wanted to catch every single detail, every little hit I could find, anything that tells me something else about my blood, about what I can do.
I heard something break down stairs, at first I didn't think anything of it, I kept reading when I heard something break again, I set down the note, I left it on the bed. I got up slowly I walked out into the hallway and slowly I walked down the stairs.
" Samuel? " I called out as I was halfway down the stairs, I didn't see anyone in the living room.
I got to the bottom of the stairs, " Quinn, was that you? " I asked as I came around the stairs, I stopped in my tracks to see Nick standing in the kitchen.
" Nick " I said glaring at him.
My heart started to beat faster than ever, what was going on? Why was he back?
" hi, Vivian " he smiled.
" where are my friends? " I asked.
" oh there long gone " he smiled.
" what are you doing back here? " I asked.
He stepped forwards, " I rewired the kitchen camara the night you came down stairs, that's why I was awake and since I knew you weren't coming to find me, I was coming back to find you " he smiled.
I turned around and ran to the door, I couldn't open it.
" I locked it, you can't get out " he said, I kept trying, I turned around to see him walking closer to me, we were face to face.
" your only a little 15 year old, you can't fight me, i'm much older then you " he said.
" now your coming with me " he said.
" if you know everything about me then you know i've taken boxing " I said before kneeing him in the stomach making him fall to the ground, I started to run, he grabbed my foot making me fall on my stomach. Luckily I caught myself before hitting the ground.
I rolled over and slowly tried to get myself back up to the surface to get away, but he was already up, he kicked me back down to the ground. He stepped over me and leaned down so we were face to face, I tried to break free, but I couldn't his feet were at my sides holding me tight so I wouldn't move.
I didn't know Nicks true age so I didn't know how strong he would be
" Nick, you don't have to do this, you can stop this before it gets worse " I said trying so hard not to cry from the pain of his feet digging into my sides.
" the only thing getting worse is Love, I promised to stop that " he said.
" who did you promise? " I asked, before I could say anything else, my arm was struck with a sharp pain as I looked over to see a needle jabbed into it. My eyes closed the last thing I saw was Nick stepping away from me.
