Chapter Seven

The air was cold and crisp, it brushed up against my bear skin, the sky was dark, it was about to rain or snow, I couldn't tell which one. I looked up in the sky my eyes squinting something bad was coming I could feel it. All the birds stated to fly away, it got even more windy. I wasn't safe.
My heart pounded as I sat up from my bed, " you ok? " Quinn asked, I turned to see her on her bed tying her shoes.
" yeah, just a bad dream " I placed my feet on the ground, it was cold, my toes were freezing, I walked into the bathroom to get changed.
" ready for your second week of school? " Quinn asked.
" yeah I guess so, I mean I don't want to go, but " I said.
" no one wants to go, there still forcing us to not be our sleeves " she said getting up to pack her bag.
I sat down to tie my shoes.
" why are they even trying so hard, you already know what it feels like they can't stop you now, Can they? " I asked.
" I don't know " Quinn looked puzzled.
The door opened, " finally, i'm so hungry " Quinn and I said at the same time.
We both leaned back in shock, nodded our head and walked to the eating hall.
The room was filled with chatter as we walked and sat down.
" whats going on why is it so loud today? " I asked.
" Dave is about to announce something " Blake said.
" attention everyone! " Dave yelled.
The Eating hall quieted down, everyone looked to the front of the room.
" as you all know we have a winter dance every year, the winter dance will take place this friday in The Den " Dave said, the room filled with chatter again.
" someone will be coming around the classes sometime today so you can order your outfits " Dave said.
He left the room after saying a few more words, " what's this winter dance? " I asked.
" one of the best time of the year, it basically the only time they let you interact in a loving way, you can have a date, you can kiss that date and date " Samuel said.
" oh, sounds fun " I said sarcastically.
" it truly is a lot of fun, you don't need to have a date, I know Blake has one every year, but it will be fun " Quinn said.
" i'm holding you to that " I said.
" good because you need to start thinking about what dress you want to get " Leila smiled.
" wait we don't have to wear gray? " I asked.
" nope, see it is the best time of the year " Trevor smiled.
" I guess it is " I sighed.

We walked into class.
" so I assume you all know about the dance, this doesn't mean you slack off on doing your work, so work on the project till you get to go and find your outfits " Mr.Crash said.
I looked down at my notebook knowing that I needed a computer to work on it, I picked up my pencil and tapped it on the notebook.
" hey what are you drawing? " Samuel asked.
I looked over at him and down at the notebook, " I don't know " I looked at it a little more.
" is everything ok? " he asked.
" I've seen this before, in my dream " I said.
" looks like a pretty creepy dream " he said.
" yeah it was " I said, my eyes didn't move away from the notebook. I saw the same birds the same trees, the same dark sky, it was almost like I could feel the cold air once again, the bad feeling was back.
" are you sure your ok? " Samuel asked again.
I looked over at him, " yeah i'm fine " I smiled.

We walked into the Study Hall, Quinn and Leila sat away from us so they could talk about something, I don't know what. Quinn always talked to people in private she never talked out loud to everyone much.
" what kinda dress are you getting? " I asked.
" I don't know yet maybe something gold " Winny turned to me and smiled.
" what are you looking for? " she asked.
" no idea yet, but when I find it i'll know " I said.
Good dresses for winter dance's.
I went threw all the websites, " find anything yet? " Winny asked.
" no checking this last web site then i'm giving up " I laughed.
" you find anything? " I asked.
" I think I did " she smiled, I looked over to see this long gold dress with small flowers going up the bottom of the skirt, less as you looked up.
" that's going to look so good on you " I said.
" thanks, I hope- you know like it " Winny smiled.
" I think she will " I whispered.
" are you going to tell the boys? " I asked.
" I hope so " she smiled.
I nodded. I clicked on the last web site and scrolled threw the dresses, half way threw I saw this light silver dress, with white pop out flowers on the bottom.
" I think I found my dress " I leaned over to Winny.
She looked over at it, " even though you didn't want something gray, it will look amazing " Winny smiled.
" it's not gray, it's sliver " I we laughed.
We both clicked order at the same time.
The boys were already done and there outfits had been bought, they just had to get suit and i'm pretty sure they were all black.
We walked into the Library.
" so what do your dresses look like? " I asked.
" you'll just have to wait and see " Leila and Quinn said.
We joined the boys in the Library, Quinn and Winny were whispering something to each other.
I sat down in the middle of Samuel and Trevor well Leila and Blake sat in there own chairs, Quinn sat on the edge of the chair well Winny sat in the chair.
" guys can we tell you something? " Quinn said.
My eyes widened as I knew what they were going to do.
" Viv you ok? " Winny asked.
" yes, continue " I said leaning in to listen.
" anyway, Winny and I want to say " Quinn stopped talking.
" were dating " Winny said.
The boys were all shocked.
" wait really, Winny I thought you were straight " Blake said.
" nope, " Winny smiled.
" wait, did you two know about this? " Samuel asked.
" I just found out yesterday " I said.
" yeah i've known for a while " Leila said.
" why did you never tell us? " Trevor asked.
" we didn't know how you guys would react, but we thought we might as well tell you before the dance because we're going together " Quinn smiled looking down at Winny.
" ok wait so, you two are dating and have been dating for how long now? " Trevor asked.
" three months " Winny said.
" ok, have you guys kissed? " Blake asked, they didn't say anything.
" taking that as a yes " Blake smirked.
" well just know were ok with it " Samuel smiled.
" yeah, I'm glad that's is now off my chest and into the open " Winny leaned back in the chair.
" anyway, we you all successful in finding a dress? " Samuel asked.
" yes we all were " Leila smiled.
" what do they look like? " Blake asked.
" now your just going to have to wait till friday for that " Quinn smirked.
" fine then you'll have to wait to see our suits " Trevor said.
" there black aren't they? " I asked.
" maybe, but you'll see " Trevor said, Samuel hit him in the back of the head.
We all laughed, how was I so lucky to find new friends like this, it must have been fate.
