Chapter 7

His POV

Nasa loob na kami ng penthouse ko at okupado ko lahat ng space sa top floor ng building na ito.

Napatingala pa siya at naamaze sa mga nakikita niya. Kung makikita mo lang siya para siyang isang batang naamaze sa bagong laruan. Kumikislap ito sa pagkamangha. Not to mention my place is kinda huge. I have my chandelier. Paintings from famous artists which i won from auctions. I have this antique vase placed on the corners.

My unit was surrounded by glass walls, kaya kitang kita ang city lights sa gabi.

Napadako ang tingin ko roon dahil andun siya nakadikit sa glass wall at tuwang tuwa sa nakikita sa baba ng unit ko.

"Wow as in wow ang ganda ng unit mo sir. Pasensyahan mo na ako hah sir- i mean Nikolai kasi naman ngayon lang ako nakapasok sa ganito kagarang bahay at ngayon lang din ako nakakita ng mga ganito sa personal."

"It's okay Reign. You look so cute doing it and i don't mind, you doing that thing."

"Ah hehehe, tara na sa kitchen mo ng matapos tayo ng maaga at makauwe rin ako ng maaga."

"Okay you go first at the right side. I'll just  change first."

She just nod and headed to my kitchen. While i go to my room and change with a white shirt and a cotton shorts.

Before i go to my kitchen i remember what she calls me and how sexy it is hearing my name.

Shit, i should not think it that way. She's my secretary.

And i am not destined to fall again or else i'll fall into pieces again. Stop thinking Zarick it will lead you to nowhere.

I just follow her in my kitchen. I saw her arranging the groceries in my refrigerator and to my cupboards.

I help her doing it.

"So let's start"

"Okay, so anu ang gusto mong lutuin natin ngayon?"

Tanong niya sakin.

"Ahm, that adobo i want to know how to cook it then after i want the menudo and the chicken cury."

"Ay okay let's begin. Pero bago yun ito suotin mo to para di ka madumihan."

Sabay abot niya saakin ng apron na may mukha ni mickey mouse at siya naman yung mukha ni hello kitty. Well it's really awkward wearing a pink apron but then i wear it. I think mom brought these aprons and i can't say know to her so i let her pit it in my kitchen.

She told me to cut those onion and garlic. She prepare the chicken meat and wash it. After that she marinated it with soy sauce, pepper and the chop onions and garlic.

She told me to cut those veges for menudo. She cut another piece of chiken meat for the kare-kare.

After doing all the cutting and chopping. She ready the utensils where we will cook.

She taught me how and when to put those condiments or what the measurement and when to high or low the fire.
She let me taste every dishes and it tastes good really.
She also let me cook the rice on the rice cooker.

After an hour it was all done. She clean the table and ready to serve the food while she let me sit down.

I watch her doing it. Such an ideal lady to become a mother and a wife.

Her hair is a little bit messy and she is sweating so i go back to my room and get a face towel for her.

Pagbalik ko the food was already serve. Naglalagay na lang siya ng mga pinggan at baso sa lamesa.

Nilapitan ko na siya at ako na mismo ang nagpunas sa pawis niya. Bigla naman siyan natigilan sa ginawa ko at napatingin sakin.

"A-ako na Nikolai. Maupo ka na don."

Inagaw nga niya yung towel at hinayaan ko na lang siya. Tumalikod siya at nagpunas. Pagkatapos nun ay umupo na rin siya.

Nagpray muna siya bago kami kumain.

"Ang sarap naman ng luto mo."

Papuri pa niya sakin.

"Hah, hindi naman ako nagluto nito, ikaw. Masarap ang niluto mo. I'll forget my diet because of this."

Nakangiti ko na sambit sa kanya. Bigla naman siyang natigilan sa pagsubo at napatingin sakin.

"Alam mo nakakagulat ka sir i mean Nikolai. Talaga bang ganun ang resulta ng Filipino food sayo?"

"Like what?"

"Ngumingiti ka, nginingitian mo ako at tumatawa pa at buong araw kang good mood. Oh my thank you Lordy."

"Hahaha, silly. I'm just happy and thankful okay. Is it a wrong move for me to smile, Reign?"

"Ay hindi po sir. Mas ok nga po yan eh. Dapat happy lang palagi para good vibes at positive ang life."

"Hmm, well. Nakakahawa rin kasi ang pagiging positive at pagiging masaya mo Reign."

Yeah that's the truth, i feel so comfortable with her. I feel calm whenever she's around. Though sometimes, she saw me losing my temper but everytime i saw her got scared i try to calm my self or find place where she can't see me.

For a short time, i got close to her without her knowing.

I know it is wrong to get attached to her but i can't stop myself.

Naubos namin ang niluto namin at subrang busog namin. Ngayon na lang ulit ako nabusog ng ganito.

Siya na ang nagligpit ng pinagkainan namin kaya nag offer akong ako na ang maghuhugas tatanggi pa sama siya pero hindi ko siya hinayaan. Nakaupo siya sa isang silya habang ako ay naghuhugas.

May alam naman ako sa mga gawain sa bahay dahil nung college namuhay akong mag isa kahit na kaya ng family ko na kumuha ng helper ko dun sa apartment ko sa states.

Natapos kami at iginiya ko siya sa sala. Napatingin naman siya sa wall clock ko and it's pass 9 pm already. She stands up and ready to bid goodbye when i initiate to give her a ride. Since it's already dark outside.

Di naman siya kumuntra pa kaya kinuha ko na ang susi ko at lumabas na ng unit ko.
