*Selena's POV*

When we finally reach the hospital John is slightly calmer than he was before. By that I mean that he doesn't look like he is ready to kill someone.

"Wait here while I get you something to use," He says, sitting me on a bench.

I do as told and sit there while he jogs inside to get a new wheelchair for me. Dr. Barnes cannot know that anything happened (like it did) or else we could get hospitalized longer than we already have to be.

John returns with a plain hospital wheelchair and I get into it without a single word. He walks me up to the room. This time he isn't running so there is no laughter. Actually it's quite tense as we walk.

When we reach the room nobody is there so John just helps me into my bed. He then proceeds to climb into his own bed and presses a button.

"Hello?" the phone is on speaker.

"Hi Amanda, we're back and already in our room," John says.

"Okay Ill send the doctor up," the lady, who I presume is Amanda, says.

I wait silently until Dr. Barnes walks in. I sit up and see him smiling at us.

"How did it go?" he asks.

"Great!" John says cheerfully. I know his happiness is fake though.

"Good well Im going to have to check your blood pressure and all of that stuff to make sure nothing happened, especially during Selena's dancing. How was that by the way?" he walks over to me first and starts checking my pulse

"I loved it! Its been forever, too long," I gleam.

"I figured you would enjoy it. Your pulse seems fine."

When he finishes checking me he walks over to John. I stare at him, going nothing too bad happened where Dr. Barnes could notice.

He goes through the pulse and frowns, "a little off but it's still okay."

He then checks the blood pressure and furrows his eyebrows, "maybe this is because of all the random activity today but your blood pressure is off as well."

"Where did you get this bruise?" Dr. Barnes points to Johns forehead.

"I hit it on a monkey bar," he shrugs.

"He was trying to show off but failed," I pipe up, trying to make it more believable. It works.

"I can definitely see that but Im going to have to check your head out before you go to sleep now," Dr. Barnes says.

"Okaaay," John mumbles.

"Ill call the nurse in to check you out but I have to go check on something else. See you two soon," he says.

"Bye!" I shout as he shuts the door.

"That was a close one," I say once I wait a few minutes to make sure that there is no chance that Dr. Barnes could overhear.

"Yeah," I nod.

"Why did you do it? How did you do it? There were several guys there!" I exclaim.

"More than half of them ran away when they heard me coming. Only two or three stayed and they didn't all three come at me at once. Plus remember I play several sports, I used to take jujitsu too," he says.

"Oh that explains a lot! But that leads us to why."

"They could have drowned you, is that not reason enough?"

"Nope. There's something else too, I know it," I state.

"You're annoying," he mutters.

"You're insufferable," I fire back.
