Chapter 16

Recap: 

Nivea wakes up. 

Still Derek's POV

"Nivea." We all say in sync. I can't believe the sight before me. I don't think any of us can. 

"I just wanted to be with my family, I couldn't do this. I hurt everywhere. Emotionally more than anything but my whole body hurts too." She says tears falling from her eyes. 

-Nivea's POV-

"I don't want you to be mad at me. I'm so sorry. There's so much building up. I'm sick, I'm stressed, I lost my virginity, I almost died again because I was being a selfish bitch. I can't believe I am saying this, but I'm also in love with somebody, and Lele you can beat the living fuck out of me if you want but the Derek I love is our Derek. My best friend Derek. I mean there is really another Derek but I don't have feelings for him. I have to clear my conscience because I hate living a lie. I hate telling you people dumbass excuses, and the first step to feeling better is getting it all off of my chest. I'm done holding back okay, I'm tired of this. From today on I will work ten times harder than I have been, I will be in the studio, I will forgive all the selfish whores at work who bully me and then I will ignore them. I will fight because I'm done giving into the darkness that almost took me away from you twice. I love you guys I do but I have to move onto greater things and that means accepting everything right here and walking away. It's time to move on." I say. 

"We aren't mad at you. I'm not mad at you. I trust you, I know you won't make a move on Derek while we are together, I won't hurt you." Lele says hugging me. 

"Well since we are on the subject of moving on and such, I also want to let you know I will be out of the house by the end of the month. I need my own space to think. I will get a small condo or something nearby." I say looking at them. 

"No, please stay with us." Skate begs. 

"I can't. You guys we made a deal when we moved out here. When we really get going we will live in our own places and branch out. We will still hang out." I say. 

"But I don't want us to yet. We were 17 Vea." Derek says. I sigh. 

"It's time for me to move out you guys. I have to spread my wings sometime, and honestly this is the perfect time for me to do so. I'm only holding your relationships back, and other stuff, so please just let me do this. I promise to hang out with you everyday. We can even make a song or two together." I suggest. 

"Okay fine but you have to stay really close." Derek says. 

"Deal." I smile. The doctor and Madison walk inside the room. 

"Ah, Ms. Williams it's really nice to see you awake. How do you feel?" 

"I feel really good Dr. Garner." I smile. He nods. 

"That's fantastic to hear. So we can release you right away." He says. I nod.

"Okay." I smile. He hands me papers. 

"Sign these and you may go."

"Sweet. Thanks." I say quickly signing the papers. He walks out and Stassie hands me my clothes. 

They all step out of the room and I change quickly. 

I put the hospital gown in the bin that they have for the dirty ones and I walk out to the hallway. 

"Get me home." I say. With that we all ride back to mine, Derek, and Skates house. While everyone chooses what movie that should be watched I make them popcorn. 

"Here's the popcorn kids." I smile. I give them the bowls to fight over then begin to walk away. 

"Where you going?" JJ asks. 

"Bed. I'm exhausted." I say. 

"Princess, please watch one movie with us. We haven't seen you for a month. Just a movie." JJ says. 

"Fine." I chuckle. JJ lifts up his blanket and pats the empty spot by him on the couch.

"Come cuddle with me." He says. I blush and climb under the covers with him while we watch a movie. 

That one movie turned into 5 movies. It was worth it though. I missed this stuff with them.
