~Chapter 9~

Through Jay's eyes.

Saturday morning.

Feeling myself slowly waking up. I opened my eyes and I feel my lower body heavy. I struggled to bring my body up. As I felt Phoenix's hand slid off of me. I gazed over to him. What happened? Did I black out again?

Throwing on some fresh clothes and making my way downstairs. What's with all that noise? As soon as I place my feet onto the main floor of the living room and kitchen area. I see cooks inside and outside. I guess barbeque and whatever that chef is making in the kitchen. And I see waiters everywhere. How many people are we having? There's tables outside in our back yard.

"My boy!!" My dad gives me a big hug "I missed you all day yesterday. Still hungover?" He laughs the kinda laugh I haven't heard him do before. He seems really happy. Which makes me happy.

"Yeah, I'm fine dad. Thanks. Oh, the party is today" I glanced all over to see everyone working "this is awesome!"

My dad smiling "isn't it? Okay son, go take a shower and get ready. Tell phoenix to get ready too. I invited about 80 guests" he smiles and walks away.

I walked back to my room and see if phoenix was awake yet. It's like 2:00pm. Wow I slept late. My god.

Making my way to my bed and seen him snoring. This is my first time hearing him snore "phoenix, my dad told us to get ready. Hello?"

I finally gave up and walked to my bathroom. I slowly stripped down from my sore and achey bones. Oh my God why is phoenix so rough!

"Hey want to take a shower together?"

I looked back at phoenix "uh... Sure" I hopped in the shower where the nice hot water was running down the faucet. Why is he so nice. Did I do or say something to him?

What's have gotten into me? I'm really starting to get comfortable around him now. What a second? Am I falling for him?

"You okay?" I just realized I was zoning out "huh?" I look up to phoenix. Wow he's so close to me "yeah I'm fine"

Placing my arms over his shoulders while water streams over me and Phoenix. We started making out. It was a really nice sensation. What is this feeling? I have never been in a relationship before. Whatever this butterfly feeling is. It felt amazing.

8pm was the time. Guest were arriving. Every was blue and gold. My dad picked really nice decor for his company party. I glanced over to Phoenix and he was literally surrounded by gorgeous older women. He looks tense. Should I save him? Nah, he doesn't need my help. I went over to my dad "dad I don't feel like in a party mood at the moment" my dad gives me a laugh "aww come on son!" He was tispy.

My dad introduced me to some of his work buddies "you guys Remeber my boy jay" an older man with dirty blond short hair "ah of course. Hello" he smiles. Another with a huge belly "yes of course" he shakes my hand. Lastly a tall scary thin man with short black hair "jay" he also shakes my hand.

I walked away. This is not my scene. I'm so used to just staying home and being by myself. Games is all I ever need... I forze for a second. But now I have Phoenix. I shook my head softly. Never mind I'm going upstairs.

As I reached my room. I have been zoning out to much lately that I haven't notice someone followed me to my bedroom. "Phoenix, please not tonight.." I looked back to see my dad's scary looking friend "uh can I help you?"

"Who is Phoenix. Is he your boyfriend?" I stood my ground. What the fuck does this guy want?! "I'm going to yell for my dad if you don't get the fuck out of my room!"

The tall man slowly walks towards me. I closed my eyes shut. Why is this happening to me all of sudden? Phoenix, I felt tears started forming. Please God not again. My body tensed up for being traumatized. Feeling cold finger tips under my chin. Lefting my head up. Oh God.... what do I do? My eyes still shut for being scared.

Suddenly "Oww!" Feeling the cold fingers linger away from my face then  hearing a loud bang against the floor. I slowly opened my eyes seeing Phoenix. My heart grew with happiness that I started crying "Phoenix..." I smiled.

Phoenix with hatred in his eyes looking down at the tall scary man that's on the ground injured "if you ever come near jay ever again. I'll fucking kill you" my eyes widen from the look on Phoenix eyes. He looks really terrifying but he rescued me.
