I walked in and was met by a lot of curious eyes.  Mrs. Miller said, “We have a new student, her name is Isabella Baker. You can sit in the back by Jake. He’s in the left corner with his head down.”

I smiled and walked to my seat. Jake looked up when I sat down, “Hey,” he smiled. “I’m Jake.”

“Isabella,” I smiled back, “nice to meet you.”

“You too,” He said. “How old are you?”

“I’ll be sixteen on Halloween.” I said. “Why you ask? How old are you?”

“I’ll be seventeen next month.”

When the bell rang I went to English with Mr. Mack, he sent me to a desk in the middle of the room, this was going to be fun.

A girl with blonde hair and blue eyes said, “Hey I’m Victoria. Where are you from?”

“New Jersey, I’m Isabella.”

“What lunch do you have?”

I pulled out my schedule, “Second, you?”

“Me too,” She smiled. “You can sit with my friends and I if you want.”

I smiled, “Okay, thank you.”

I was happy, at least I wouldn’t have to sit alone on my first day. After class I had biology with Mr. Mason.

I walked in, he smiled, “You must be Isabella. You can sit by Jason, he’s in the back on the right.” He raised his hand.

I sat down quietly and opened my notebook, we just took notes all class. Jason wasn’t a talker, which was good, I didn’t talk much myself.

The bell rang and I went to lunch, Victoria smiled when she saw me. “Isabella, over here.” I walked over to her and her friends and sat down.

“Hey what’s up?” I asked.

“Nothing, by the way that’s Sarah, Lynn, Emily, and Chloe.” She introduced them.

“I love your shirt.” Lynn smiled.

I smiled back, “Thank you.”

“Where are you from?” Chloe asked.

“New Jersey.”

“Cool,” Emily smiled.

I pulled out my lunch, grilled chicken and mandarin orange salad with a vinaigrette dressing on the side an apple and a bottle of water.

The girls all looked at me, "I eat healthy, I always have.”

After lunch I had French, athletics, and study hall. I had a lot of homework, so it worked out great.

When the final bell rang I walked outside; I had no idea who was picking me up. I saw Brian, Synyster Gates, standing by his car. I walked up to him and he hugged me.

“Hey how was your first day?” He asked when we were in the car.

“It was really good, I met a few friends and I sat with them at lunch.”

“That’s good.” He said. “Do you have any homework?”

“Not really,” I answered honestly, “I did most of it in in study hall.”

He dropped me off at home and left I went to my room.
