My alarm went off loud and in my ear, I groaned and shut it off. Victoria was already up and coming out the bathroom almost dressed.

"What time did you get up?" I asked half asleep.

"I don't know," She answered.

After my shower I did my hair and make up. I put on jeans and a black shirt with a red tank top under it. I slid on my shoes and we ran downstairs. Dad dropped us off and we went to class.

Victoria was waiting for me at lunch, I sat across from her. "My mom is home. She got in late last night."

"That's cool," I asked, "Are you staying at home or with me again?"

"Home," she said smiling.

I nodded, "That's fine."

After school my dad picked me up. "Where's Victoria?"

"Her mom came home."

"Okay," he said smiling, "I like her, she's really sweet."

"Yeah," I agreed, "She was my first friend at school."

"I didn't know that."

"We have English and lunch," I said, "We sit next to each other in class and at lunch everyday."

Dad smiled, "How many people know you're my daughter?"

"Just her," I said, "I didn't tell anyone because I want people to treat me differently."

"I know what you mean." He said, "I wouldn't want a lot of people knowing either."

I sighed, I was so tired. "What's everyone doing?"

"Nothing," he said, "Do you think Victoria could be using u to get to the band?"

I shook my head, "I don't think so, at least I hope not."

"Me too, kiddo."

When we got home I did my homework and outside to smoke. Dad was already out there so I joined him. "Where's mom?"

"She went to get dinner."

"What are we having?"

"I think Chinese."

I heard a car door shut, "I think mom is home."

"Me too," dad said smiling and helping me stand up.

After dinner I went to the living room to watch TV. There was nothing on so I went outside.

Mom was sitting on the porch, "Where's your friend?"

"She's at home," I said, "her mom came home last night."

"I'm glad." She said smiling, "I like her, she's so polite and respectful."

I nodded, "She's like my best friend."

"Do u guys have any classes together?" She asked.

"Mhmm," I said, "English and lunch, we sit together everyday."

"I'm glad you have a friend."

"Me too." I went to my room and shut the door.

Brian: What's up?

Me: Hey you :) nothing just laying on my bed.

Brian: Is your friend there?

Me: No, her mom came home.

Brian: That's good. What's on your mind?

Me: Uhh,..

Brian: Tell me.

Me: I'm just wondering if Victoria is really my friend or if she's just using me to get to you guys.

Brian: What makes you think that?

Me: IDK she's a huge fan. I'm your girlfriend and Zacky's daughter.

Brian: I'm sure its all in your head babe.

Me: I hope so.

In the morning I shut off my alarm and got in the shower; I was not in the mood for school today. I put on black skinny jeans a white Bullet for my Valentine shirt with a red tank top underneath and my black studded belt. I slid on my shoes and went downstairs.

I got a cup of coffee and went out back to smoke. Dad smiled at me, "Good morning sweetie. Are you okay? You look like a zombie."

"I'm just tired still," I said, "I hope this coffee wakes me up."

"Good luck with that." He said, "Are you ready to go?"

I nodded and we left. He dropped me off and I went to class. My algebra test was surprisingly easy, I felt good about it.

Victoria smiled at me when I got English, "You look tired."

"That's an understatement," I said laying my head on my desk.

She rubbed my arm, "Is everything okay?"

I nodded, "Just tired as hell."

"I see," she said laughing.

Mrs. Mack came in and called the class to order. We watched a movie on Romeo and Juliet, then had a test after to see what we learned.

Biology did not hold my attention either, we finished the boring movie. I was so happy to get to lunch so I could sleep. Victoria was already there eating lunch when I walked in.

"How many more days until the weekend?" I asked sitting across from her.

"Just two dude," she answered, "you can make it."

"Ugh," I moaned. "I wanna go home and sleep."

Victoria laughed, "It can't be that bad."

I glared at her, "You have no idea."

We had a pop quiz in French and in athletics we had a free day. I sat on the floor and watched a few guys play basketball.

I had no homework so I napped in study hall. I woke up when the bell rang, loud and long.

Matt picked me up, "How was your day?" He asked with a big smile.

"Long as hell," I said, "you don't wanna know."

We pulled up and went inside, Brian and dad were out back smoking and drinking a beer. I lit my own and sat next to Brian. He laid his hand on my leg and smiled.

"How was your day baby?"

"Don't ask." I said with a little more attitude than I intended.

I went to my room with Brian and shut my door. I changed into a pair of short shorts and a tank top. I pulled my hair into a messy bun and lay in my bed. He pulled me against his chest and we fell asleep.
