A bright light was streaming through the window in the morning. I grabbed the blanket and pulled it over my head groaning.

Victoria said, "Wake up everyone."

"Shit," I groaned. "I need coffee."

"Me too," Chloe said groaning in pain. "And Tylenol."

"Ugh," Emily said. "Wake me up later, I don't care when, just not now please."

Lynn, Chloe, and Emily all went home. Victoria and I were in the living room getting ready to go get coffee. We pulled up at star bucks and ordered two Carmel frappés and went back to her house. It was so trashed; I helped her clean up.

"You don't have to help me." Victoria said smiling.

"I don't mind, girl." I said smiling back. "It's no big deal, plus we'll get done faster."

"True." She said throwing some cups away. "Thanks for coming, I really hope you had fun."

"I did, trust me," I said, " you have no idea. I hadn't smoked in so long."

"I smoke all the time." She said, " It helps my nerves."

"I did when I was first put in foster care." I said, "A few of the older boys used to give me cigarettes and they would smoke with me."

"Why were you put in foster care?"

I explained my whole story to her; she just looked at me and hugged me. I hugged her back, it felt nice having a real friend.

After we finished Matt came and got me. "I want you to meet Victoria."

He followed me inside. "Hey, I'm Matt." He smiled and shook her hand. She looked like she wanted to pass out.

"I'm uh, I'm Victoria." She said blushing scarlet. "It's nice to meet you. I'm a huge fan."

"Thank you," Matt smiled. "Did you have a good birthday?"

"Yes," Victoria smiled. "It was amazing, thank you for asking."

"Are you home alone?" Matt asked.

She nodded, "My mom left before my party and won't be home until Monday at the latest."

"Do you wanna come with me?" I asked. "I don't want you to be here all by yourself, in case something happened."

"I'd love to." She said smiling.

"Let me ask my dad."

Me: Can Victoria come over? Her mom is out of town until Monday.

Dad: That's fine with me.

Me: Thanks dad.

"He said its fine." I said and helped Victoria get some clothes.

When she was finished we left and went to my house. I took her up to my room so she could put her stuff away. "I love your room, girl, its so cool."

"Thanks," I said smiling, "The bathroom is right there."

"Cool," she said. "Do you mind if I take a shower?"

I nodded, "Go ahead, towels r in the cabinet. Do you want something comfortable to put on?"

"No thanks," she said, "I have some pajama pants."

She got in the shower and when she was done I got in. The hot water felt amazing while it unknotted my back and helped my headache go away. After twenty minutes I shut off the water and brushed my hair out. I put on my Hello Kitty pajama pants, a white lace tank top and a pink V-neck shirt. I put on some white socks and we went downstairs.
