Break the Ice Pt. 2

Ice's POV

"Ice, the first time I met you, it was really like hell. It's a disaster. We never stopped arguing, bickering, pissing each other off. You were always that guy who annoys me, big time! You're that guy that never fails to make my blood boil. You're that guy that really upsets me. You're also that guy who's loving, caring, always concerned about those who are in need. I really liked that especially when you brought me to the orphanage and the home for the aged. You're this cool guy that has a soft side. And I liked that about you. I know that this are all cliches, but you were able to see past through the coldness that I bring. You changed me. You made me realize everything. And I'm thankful for that. I really am." - Hailey said while looking straight into my eyes.

I didn't expected this sudden confession. And I'm so happy about it. I really am. I just wanna hug her right here, right now. I couldn't contain my happiness anymore.

I know I have something to say to her now. And I'm not holding back anymore.

"Hailey, you don't know how much you changed me, too. I never really thought I'd be serious over a girl. You challenged me. I annoyed you, yes, but it's just my way to see past through you. And right then, I know you are an awesome girl. I'm that guy who easily gets bored over a girl. I'm that guy who loves to have fun. But when I get the chance to see you that first day you were at Pristine High, I know, you're different. That's why I bug you. I really like you, Hailey. And somehow, I'm wishing you'd give me the chance to prove to you how much you really mean to me." - I said all confident. I really meant every word of that statement. I really like her. No. I think I'm falling for her.

But then again, my Dad appeared in the picture. No. I won't do what he told me. I don't care if my share on his fortune is at stake. I don't care about the money.

"Ice.." - he called out me name softly.

But before she could continue her statement, the music stopped so I took her to her seat. I smiled at her before I left.

I proceeded to the boys. Nakita ko silang prenteng nakaupo sa pangsampuang table.

"Hey man." - bati ni Clyde.

"You look happy." - Gavin.

"Ecstatic dude. Man. I've never felt like this before." - I said after I took a seat right next to Gavin.

"You fallin' for her?" - Fear

My lips instantaneously curled up into a smile. Yes. I think I really am falling for her.

"So I guess that's a yes." - Fear.

"Ehh Ice, pano yung usapan niyo ng Daddy mo?" - Clyde.

Yes. They know all about this. I have to tell them, otherwise if this don't end up well, I still have someone who knows the real meaning behind all of this.

"I need to call him." - sabi ko tsaka tumayo na.

Kailangan kong sabihin kay Daddy na hindi ako makakapayag na manipulahin niya ang buhay ko. Kailangan kong sabihin na hindi ko gagawin ang gusto niya para lang mapasaya siya.
