"Y/n!" I heard Roman call from down stairs, I groaned and snuggled back deep into the blankets of our bed of course not wanting to get up, after a few minutes I was almost back to sleep until I heard the heavy foot steps of my husband coming up the stairs followed by the creek of the bedroom door as it was pushed opened, I shut my eyes tightly hoping he would think I was asleep and leave me alone, at least that is until I felt a large weight on top of me. I looked up to see Roman straddling me on the bed, I groaned.
"Rooooooooo" I dragged out groggily "I don't wanna get up" I poured like a little kid who didn't get there way, he chuckled and then pulled the blankets off me. I was about to protest when something stopped me dead in my tracks. Roman coughed.
"Are you ok ro?" I asked him, he looked up and nodded getting off of me
"Yeah babygirl I'm fine, just a-" he was cut off by another coughing fit
"Roman" I said sternly "your obviously not ok" he sighed, I took the opportunity to put my hand on his forehead
"Roman your burning up" I told him, shocked "we need to take you to the doctor" I told him quickly hopping out of bed and pulling some clothes on
"But babygirl, if I'm sick I can't wrestle, what will seth and dean do without Me" he said
"Seth and dean will understand when I call them and tell them your sick after we go to the doctor Roman, your health is more important right now" I said while I pulled on a shield shirt.
——- time skip to after the doctor——
I walked into the house followed by a sluggish Roman, when I got in I turned around and watched as he closed the door tapping my foot on the floor, he looked at me and sighed
"Ok before you say anything, I thought it was a cold I didn't think it was meningitis" I sighed too
"Fair enough, but this means you have to stop wresting for a few weeks until you get better" I concluded to him, he hesitantly nodded, I turned and went to put my purse away upstairs when I heard him yell at me
"Does this mean you get to be my sexy nurse?", I giggled to myself and yelled back
"Yes ro, yes it does"
