(Y/N's POV)
After getting changed and waiting outside the locker room for a few minutes I eventually met up with Bubba, Devon and Spike. They showed me out to their car and now we are on the way to the bar they were going to, I'm sitting in the back with Bubba, while Spike is shotgun and Devon is driving. I look over at Bubba,
"So you said you guys go to this bar pretty often?" I asked him, he nodded
"Yeah, we try and go every time we come to this city," Bubba replied
"We've never brought anyone else along so this is kind of a special occasion" Devon added from the drivers seat laughing slightly, I noticed bubba flush and giggled
"Thanks for inviting me to come along" I told Bubba when we made eye contact again, he nodded quickly
" No problem!, I just figured you have fun and all and well ya know" he said quickly, I decided to be bold and tease him.
"I know what?" I asked him smirking slightly, I saw him freeze.
"W-well" he started, swallowing nervously "I k-know we got off on the wrong foot and all and well I wanted to spend more time with you to apologize and your also very beautiful" he finished, I could tell he didn't mean to say that out loud based on the look on his face, I blushed deeply and laughed
"Thank you" I said smiling at him, he smiled back and it wasn't long before I found myself getting lost in his eyes, my mind kept going back to our interaction in the hallway when I kissed his cheek and I soon realized maybe I was falling for this man more than I originally thought I would. We were brought out of our locked gaze by Devon.
"We're here Lovebirds" he laughed getting out of the car with spike, me and Bubba both blushed but nonetheless followed them
Once inside the four of us got a booth in a back corner but Devon and Spike quickly left me and Bubba to "go get drinks and mingle with the ladies" as spike put it.
"You did great in your debut match tonight" Bubba told me breaking the silence "it's not often someone wins their debut match, especially against Trish (stratus) your very talented"
"Thanks bubba!, you and Devon did great too, I always love to watch your guys matches" I replied back, he nodded at me thankfully and then there was a comfortable silence for a few minutes before I felt an arm wrap around my shoulders, without thinking I leaned in and put my head on his shoulder.
"Look Y/n, the truth is, even though we just met I already really like you" Bubba said, I looked up at him
"I like you too Bubba" I told him "Even though we just met I feel like we've known each other for longer then that" I said putting my head back on his shoulder, he tightened his arm around me and place a soft kiss on my head.
"So maybe me and you let the boys "mingle with the ladies" and you and I get out of here and maybe grab something to eat?" He asked, I looked up at him, kissing his cheek while standing and dragging him with me
"I'd love to" I said as we walk out of the bar and into the chilly night but both of us were so taken with the other neither of us minded much.
