Chapter 15

A few days later.........

~Alexis Kinley~

"So what do we do today?" Ella asks as she pours herself a cup of coffee.

All of us, except Zayn were currently in the kitchen deciding what we were gonna do today. According to me I think everyone wanted to have a lazy day.

What? Did a little horse riding tire them?

"Can someone wake up Zayn because I don't want do it?" Liam says.

"Louis it's your turn to wake him up." Niall states.

"You guys have turns?"

Why did they have turns, was he that bad in bed?

Not that way! Get your head out of the gutter!

"Yeah.....no one likes waking up Zayn" Harry says

"I hate this" Louis mumbles as walks up the stairs to wake up Zayn.

"So are we having a lazy day?" Ella asks.

"Yeah I guess" Liam says and all of them walk out if the kitchen.

"So Alex do y...you wanna go somewhere?" Niall asks.

"Umm.."

"you don't have to-" Niall says but I cut him off.

"Sure, I'll come.... But it's not a date." I say and walk out.

"Not a date" I hear him say.

 "Alex you coming?!" Niall yells from downstairs.

Niall and I were leaving for town. And to say that I was nervous was an understatement. We very well mentioned that it was not a date. But sometimes.....things change. I don't know if this will change, though. He might've just asked me to go out with him because he was bored.

"Coming" I say running down the stairs.

"Use protection!" Louis exclaims.

"Louis we're just going out" Niall says and we walk out of the house.

"So where are we going?" I ask Niall as we start walking. Even though I knew this place more than him, he insisted that he would guide the way.

"Not telling you" Niall says as we continue to walk and our arms brushing against each other.

As we walk ahead I try to find more clues as to where we were going. As we walk Niall and I talk about the most random things on Earth. Niall is the kind of person that when you're depressed you'll just see him coming out on a Segway. Pretty awkward to imagine!

"Here we are" Niall says and I look around to see that we're in a pizza parlor which is located in town.

"So you're idea of a date is to bring me to town" I say.

"So now it's a date huh?" Niall smirks and walks ahead of me.

A few hours later.........

"So Alex... tell me a bit about your brother." Niall says.

After a fun-filled day in town, we were going back to the house. We were currently just walking and having random conversations. Just a minute ago we were talking about The Fray and now we're talking about my brother.

Yeah.... Because that is so related!

Note my sarcasm.

"What do you want to know about him?" I ask. There were so many things I could tell about my brother.

"Is he sick of us staying at his place?" Niall chuckles.

"No... why would he?" I ask.

"Because sometimes we can be a pain in the ass." Niall says.

"Well I can't disagree to that" I say.

"Hey! That's mean" Niall says.

"You said it first" I say holding my hands up in surrender.

"But one thing is for sure, even though he travels a lot, I know he'll always come back for me." I say smiling.

Niall holds my shoulder and turns me around so I can face him.

"No matter what time, I'll always come back for you." Niall says holding my hands and I fell my cheeks turn a shade of pink.

A few seconds had passed and Niall hadn't let me go yet, instead opting to stay frozen. When I looked into his eyes I saw an unreadable emotion flash in them but, I didn't even have a second to figure out what it meant because, before I could blink, Niall was moving his face closer to me and planting his lips on mine.

My eyes closed automatically at the contact as I felt Niall's lips moving softly and slowly on top of mine. I felt my cheeks heat up even more as my body felt like it was one giant firework that had just been sent into the sky as the finale.

Sparks were going off everywhere.

Before I really had a chance to respond or comprehend what was even happening, I felt Niall pull back. I was staring at Niall with wide eyes and he had an expression on his face as though he hadn't believed what he had just done.

 With Niall staring at me strangely I did the only possible thing that registered in my mind at that moment.

I jumped out of his grip and ran.
