Chapter 20

 ~Alexis Kinley~

"It will all be worth it in the end." I say and he leans in to give me a kiss.

The kiss was warm, soft and tender. I give in the kiss as well as I loop my arms around his neck and his arms go around my waist.

If I'm with Niall everything will be worth it in the end.

He pulls away and rests his forehead on mine, his fingers intertwining with mine.

"Oh look a firefly" I say as I see one land on his nose.

"They're like me" Niall says.

"But you don't light up" I chuckle softly.

"I do when I'm with you"

"There's something about you Alex, every moment I'm with you I catch my breath. You captivated me from the very first word." he adds later.

"Niall you leave me completely speechless" I say.

"Well, that's the effect I have on people" he smirks.

"Cocky much?" I ask.

"I don't know Niall I've never felt this way about anyone and it's scary I didn't know anything about love an...and I was afraid to fall but then I met you. I guess I just let go then." I say honestly.

"You're just different" Niall says.

"It better be a good different." I say.

"It's an amazing different, you're not like half of the other girls I meet who just throw themselves at me. I mean yeah... at first we like all the attention but then it just gets frustrating."

"Thank you Alex for... everything." He adds later and I feel a smile creep onto my face.

~Niall Horan~

"Hey Lou what are you doing?" I ask him.

Louis was just hanging around in my room while Harry was talking to his mom.

"Just talking to someone" Louis says with a small smile, his eyes fixed on his phone.

"Who?" I smirk.

"A friend" he says.

"No shit Sherlock" I say. "Who is she?" I add later.

"How do you know it's a she?" he asks.

"Because you're smiling like a creepy weirdo. And I know that smile, it's the smile you wear whenever you fancy a girl" I state.

"Was it the smile you wore when you first met Alex" Louis teases and I feel my cheeks turn a shade of pink.

"This isn't about me"

"You won't give up, will you?" Louis asks and I shake my head.

"Uhh fine!! It's a girl and I may or may not fancy her" Louis says.

"What's her name?" I ask.

"I don't know" Louis says and he suddenly finds his shoes quite interesting.

"Okay... let's try again. Could you describe her?" I ask.

"I can't"

This sort of felt like déjà vu when I was telling Liam my story.

I know how you feel mate.

"So you sort of like her personality" I say unsure.

"I mean yeah... we've kind of spoken to each other and now over time we've become good friends"

"So it's an internet crush?" I ask.

"A KiK crush" Louis corrects.

"Does she even know who you are?"

"I hope not! She knows me as a crazy, stupid singing lad"

"That's a very nice description of you" I tease.

"The best you'll ever get!"

"I am receiving a skype call from my mum, so I better get going. Good night little... leprechaun" Louis adds later.

"Still a mamma's boy" I comment before he exits the room.

'It will all be worth it in the end.' I think.

It will definitely be worth it.

Oh Alex, what are you doing to me?

Whenever she's being all cute and adorable, I swear I have my heart beating like crazy the whole time; I like keeping her close to me.

Probably one of the things I like about Alex is that she is not perfect. She doesn't have to be perfect. Alex is no princess. She is tough. Hell she is an FBI agent. She has her talents but she has many weaknesses. She is not the most beautiful girl around-although I believe she is beyond gorgeous. Alex is not a princess, she is just Alex, my Alex.
