Chapter 13- Let's Go Out

Milo

I️ lay there with Thalia's hands stroking through my hair and we just stare at the sky. I️t was serene and felt amazing. After too short of a time a cloud blocked the view of the moon and Thalia looks down at me. "Want to go inside?" I️ suggest.

"You want to threaten Sebastian before Isabel even gets to go on the date?"

"Maybe...."

"Ok let's go" I️ try my best to pull myself up practically coughing up a lung in the process.

"Miles that doesn't sound so good."

"Eh" I️ shake it off and we head back into the house. "Isabel what do you think you're wearing?" She turns around and practically runs out of the door yelling behind her

"Sorry. Can't hear you Milo I️ gotta go! Love ya!"

I️ then see Juliana coming down the stairs with a dress that looks practically the same as Isabel's.

"And where do you think you're going?" I️ ask her.

"No. No. You do not get to boss me around mister. You are only a year older then me. I️ think I️ can handle myself." Thalia starts to laugh and I️ shoot her a glance that makes her try to hold it back in. "And for your information, Mister Bossy Pants, I'm going out with Liam."

Ugh Liam. Juliana has been dating him for three years and he is the most annoying guy I️ have ever met. She shoots Thalia a wink and walks towards the door "Have fun kids!" She calls behind her and she leaves. I️ turn towards Thalia "I️ need a drink. Now."

"You got anything here?" She asks while looking around at the cabinets.

"No, let's go out" I️ try to convince her.

"What about the twins?"

"They're at a sleepover"

"And Janell?"

"She doesn't even live here! And I think she might be at work or something."

"Ahh, seems like Milo needs a well deserved night away from the kids." I can't help but laugh along as I hear her giggles.

"Damn right I do."

We get in the taxi and the guy asks us where to. I give him the address of this club that all of my co workers keep raving about and we head on our way. The place looks like it was dipped in gold. Large pillars on either side with a huge sign on top reading "Luxurious Gold".

"That's a stupid name for a club." Thalia is leaning over me to look out the window at the building. We get out and can already hear music from outside before reaching the door. The line curves down the street, but it looks like it was moving quickly so we don't mind waiting.

After nearly half an hour we finally reach the bouncer. "I.D.'s?" I hand him my license and Thalia reaches into her bag for hers. The bouncer then looks through a list on a clipboard and looks at my license and back at me. "It's not a fake my man. I'm almost 26, do you want me to tell you my birthday?"

"Oh no, it's not that it's just that uhhh..." I instinctively reach into my wallet an pull out a fifty and hand it to him. I cannot go home and wait for my sisters to come back from their dates or I will actually lose my mind. He shakes his head and lets us in.
