"I'm going to head to the hospital with my sisters. Just make sure to see me before I go into surgery alright?" I say as I gather all my stuff and head to the already packed car with all the girls in it already. I tap on the picture of Mom and Dad right before I exit the house, making me feel a little calmer.
"Okay, I promise to let you see my beautiful face before you experience all those crazy dreams." There's a silence on the phone for a minute "Don't be scared, it'll be fine" I refuse to let my sisters eavesdrop on my phone call with Thalia so I lean on the hood.
"It'll be fine." I repeat, more for myself then for her and we both end the call. No goodbyes because this won't be a goodbye. Everyone agreed there will be no goodbyes.
Before I turn around I jump at the sound of the car honking and Isabel punches Zoey.
"He's going to the hospital already you asshole!"
"He's wasting time!" She tries to defend herself and I shake my head as I gesture for Juliana to sit in the back instead of driving and she sighs crawling to the back as I get in the driver's seat.
The drive is awfully long and everyone is silent, refusing to break the silence. Lilly grabs my shoulder from the back and squeezes a little, getting me out of my trance.
"We've circled the hospital four times Lo."
"Just looking for a parking spot." I lie.
"Well it's tough looking for a spot when we keep passing the parking lot."
"Zoey I think I'm seriously going to punch you today."
"I'm stressed Isabel!"
"So's he you idiot!" They keep bickering and I quickly park and leave the car to hear all of their footsteps behind me.
Thalia

I hang up the phone with Milo and take a deep breath. He'll be fine. I keep trying to say that to myself but I know that he is going into surgery to be Cancer free. He'll be free of it and live a long and happy life.
I locked the front door of the apartment and ran down the stairs of the building. Waiting for the elevator to come up and down would make me insane.
Running out the front door, I ran directly into someone's back and started to apologize profusely.
"Sorry! I wasn't paying attention and... you have GOT to be kidding me." I end when I stare right into the eyes of Lucas. "If you don't get out of my face right now..."
"Tally listen to me."
"No. I really don't give a damn about you, Lucas."
"Thalia I'm still in love with you." And that's when something in me changes. Something in me feels... bad? Disgusted? Confused? No. I feel like I finally understand. I understand how shitty of a guy this jerk in front of me truly is and I don't know when he will ever get it through his thick skull.
"No you aren't Lucas. This was never love." I tell him. "You don't lie to someone you love. You don't hide things from someone you love. You don't give up easily on someone you love." I shake my head at this trash's idea of love.
"And you sure as hell don't raise a hand up to someone you love." I spit the words out at him and he seems to tense up at the fact, showing that he remembered. I mean, he should of at least remembered the black eyes that he definitely got from Milo who obviously broke the guy's nose.
