Sit Still, Look Pretty || COMPLETE (Book 1)

Noah's POV

Noah's POV

My eyes are closed waiting for the impact of the punch. When the punch never comes I open my eyes to see Ash frozen.

He suddenly looks over at my Princess and I have the same reaction.

"RILEY!" We call at the same time.

She's as white as a ghost and her heart beat is weak. We run over to where she is swaying in the corner. Ash sits her down on the floor and kneels beside her.

"Tilly, come on. Don't do this here. Don't do this now. Just relax. I won't hurt him. Please, just don't do this. Not again. " he begs, sounding scared.

"I-i can't stop it this time." She whispers. "I-" she doesn't get a chance to finish as her eyes shut and her breathing suddenly quickens increasingly.

"What's happening to her." I panic.

"Just come and help me pin her down, would you!" His voice booms. He is clearly worried.

He lays her down on the floor and pins her arms above her head. He instructs me to pin down her legs, which I do with out hesitation.

"Tell me what's going on!" I growl.

Before he can even think about answering, Riley's breathing hitches. She takes a deep breath and let's out a deafening scream.

"Don't let go of her legs!" He yells over her screams.

I clamp my hands around her ankles as she starts moving. She's stronger than I thought. This isn't human strength, this is something more, something supernatural. What is she?

She starts bucking and pulling. This is killing me, I don't know what I can do to help her. What is happening to her?

She punches free from Ash's grip seconds before she kicks free from mine.

"Shit!" He hisses.

I look over at my confused pack members, before my attention is back onto my princess. She's now on her feet, eyes wide open.

"Riley?" I ask softly.

She doesn't answer. Instead, she let's out another scream and then disappears towards the kitchen where my mom is. Oh shit!

I rush into there only to find my mom not there and Riley standing by the island with a bigass knife in her hands.

"Tilly, calm down. You're safe. No one's getting hurt. Please. Riley, please." He begs.

Ace bounds into the kitchen wondering what's wrong. As soon as she sees him she starts freaking out. She backs into the corner with the knife still in her hands. Oh god, please let her put the knife down.

"Her dad was a wolf, her mum isn't. Her wolf has been trying to get out for around two months now, but her human side keeps fighting against it. She gets like this when she's scared, threatened and sometimes angry." He explains in a whisper. Human ears definetaly couldn't pick up on it.

So I'm not mated to a human but a werewolf instead?

I'm going to explain everything in more detail in another chapter.

I know that we don't know anything about these werewolves yet but that is because Ace doesn't trust Riley enough to keep their secret so the less she knows the better. Again, that will all be explained soon.
