"Okay, now onto the male leading role, Noah Franklin." Greg clasped his hands together again. "Anyone?" We all looked around at each other. Zack raised his hand, of course. He always had to be the center of attention. But to my surprise, Tom's hand slowly made its way up. My eyes widened slightly in shock, and so did Willow's. "Okay then! Zack, why don't you go first? The first 2 lines that Noah says." Greg asked enthusiastically as he sat down. Zack nods cockily as he stands up, clearing his throat and flipping his pages.
"Hi, I'm Noah Franklin. I'm a business man, well, my father was. I'm his only heir to take over his CEO throne that he left for me. Left for me in his will, of course." Zack spoke clearly. Everyone clapped, some more than others. I just politely tapped my hands together. As he sat down, Zack looked over at me with a smirk and winked at me. I just shivered at the creepiness and turned to Tom. "Great! Now for Tom." Greg smiled at Tom reassuringly. Tom looked as nervous as I did. He stood up and flipped through his pages frantically. I could see his legs shaking slightly. I waved my hands to catch his attention, which I succeeded at quickly. His eyes diverted to me nervously. I just smiled softly and mouthed the words, 'Calm down, you'll do fine.' It looked like that helped, because he quickly regained his posture and confidence. "Hi, I'm Noah Franklin. I'm a business man, well.. My father was. I'm his only heir to take over his CEO throne that he left for me. Left for me in his will, of course." Tom added pauses and emotion to the words that he spoke. Everyone applauded like they did for me, even I clapped louder than usual. Looks like Tom and I are the leading roles of this romance story..

"Y/N, I'm gonna' go to the bathroom to clean up my makeup. I'll be quick." Emma smiled as she walked swiftly to the ladies' bathrooms. It was the end of the day, everyone got their roles. Some happy, some disappointed. Willow and Zack ended up getting second leading roles while Emma and Daniel got third. The rest got minor roles that were here and there, mostly with 5 or 6 lines.
I leaned against the wall, scrolling through my new notifications as I waited for Emma. All of a sudden, someone's hands slammed on either side of me. I slowly pulled my phone down, revealing a rather angry Willow. "Why hello there, Willow. How are you on this beautiful day?" I said with fake kindness. "Cut the shit, L/N. I know we both don't like each other." Willow snarled in my face. "I have no clue what you mean." I said with my eyebrows furrowed confusingly. "Yes you do. I see the way you look at me and Tom. I know you're jealous." She smirked evilly. "You think I'm jealous of you?" I smiled curiously. "Yes, yes I do. You like Tom and I know you do. We both know you do. Just know that you have no chance of getting him, so don't try. It would be better if you just didn't try to be his friend at all." She hissed. "Do I detect fear in your voice, Willow?" I asked. She paused, her face draining all color. "You are! You actually think I could take your man! Oh my dear lord, aren't you a curious thing." I laughed in her face. Her jaw clenched and her teeth started to grind together. "Whatever, L/N! Even thought you got the leading role, I'm still better than you." She smirked cockily. "Well isn't that the whole point of auditions? To see who's better? Then why didn't you get the role if you're so much better?" I challenged, my eyes squinting. "You just suit the role better. Cassidy Redwood is a poor, struggling girl." Willow cackled. "Mmm.. Now that you mention it, I know what role you do suit better than me." I half smiled. "Oh? And what would that role be?" She asked curiously. "The stripper." I smirked confidently as her face fired up like a red balloon. "Why you--"
"Willow? I've been looking all over for you. Oh, and I see you found Y/N." Both Willow and I turned to look at Tom who stood beside us, just coming out of the set. "Hey baby! Sorry I wandered off, Y/N and I just had a little chat." Willow said cheerfully as she sashayed over to Tom, kissing him quickly on the lips. "We need to go. Our dinner reservation is still set for tonight." Tom smiled down at his girlfriend. "Good job on getting the lead role, Y/N. Emma is right, you do need to stand up for yourself more." Tom looked up at me sweetly. I blushed at him and looked down at my feet, smiling to myself. "Tom, let's go." Willow whined. "Okay, okay. See you later Y/N!" Tom called as they walked to the front doors.
"Wait, Tom!" I yelled after them, sprinting to catch up. Tom and Willow turned around, looking confused. "What is it Y/N?" Tom asked worriedly. I huffed, trying to catch my breath. "I'm sorry about how I acted towards you before you left my place. I don't know what came over me, and I'm truly sorry. I acted like a straight bitch to you for no reason. Maybe we can go get coffee sometime and talk about it?" I asked hopefully. I looked up to see Tom smiling, his eyes full of happiness. "It would be my pleasure. I'll text you when I'm free." He said softly. I nodded happily as a grin spread across my face. "Oh, and congrats on getting the male leading role. I wouldn't wanna' share the spotlight with anyone else." My smile spread even wider with each word I spoke. His did too as his cheeks flushed red. He nodded before turning around and leaving with Willow.
"Hey Y/N, I'm back. I'm ready to go now." Emma came out of the bathroom and walked up to me. My cheeks were red and the smile on my face hadn't gone away. "What's gotten into you?" Emma asked as she looped our arms together, walking through the doors and to her limo. "Oh, nothing." I got into the fancy car with her, sitting by the window and looking out of it.

It's a good day.
