"That was an amazing concert, I can't believe that guy in the mosh pit threw you and you broke that table!" I say to Logan as we walked home.

"I know, it was amazing, but you can't tell my mom," he responds.

"I won't, secret safe with me, but are you sure your side is okay? It seems pretty bruised and scratched up, I can help you clean them up."

"I could use a cute nurse like yourself," he tells me with a chuckle.

I smiled and blushed, he wrapped his arm around me, as finished walking home. We got inside and my mother was passed out on the couch, so we very quietly walked upstairs. He pulled off his shirt too and revealed his a slight six-pack. I turned a deep red and covered my mouth. He smirked and chuckled.

"I am sorry, let's focus on your injury," I say in embarrassment.

"It is fine, " he responds with a chuckle.

I started to take care of the scratches first, then took care of the bruises. I kept trying to focus, but it was difficult.

"All done!" I tell him relived.

"Thanks, it stung, but now I know it is better," he responds smiling.

"Not a problem."

I smile and look up into his eyes. The butterflies in my stomach are about to explode.

"Kiss him already!" Sam yells.

"Well, I should go now," Logan tells me putting on his shirt.

"Come on Juli, use your lips, it's really freaking simple, it's on television all the time."

I ignore Sam and hug Logan, I do not know what to do, I have never kissed anyone before.

"Wait, I forgot something," Logan says turning around.

He turns and kisses my cheek then leaves.

"You should've kissed him," Sam says disappointingly.

"I was nervous and you didn't help."

"I was being an encouragement."

"Encourage better than."

"Or you could just get some lady balls and kiss him."

"I have plenty lady balls."

"If ya did you would've kissed him."

"What if I wasn't ready yet?"

"You are 16 and never had your first kiss."

"So?"

"You are a loser."

"For an angel, you are really mean."

"Meh."

I roll my eyes and started taking all my crap off.

"You are just mad because I told you the truth," Sam says laying on the bed.

"I am not mad."

"Isn't he taking you out to a church tomorrow?"

"Yeah, so?"

"You and your mom just haven't been to church since your Dad left."

"I know, I still believe in God and I am a Christian, I just do not go to church," I tell him picking up my old cross necklace.

"Do you know what kind of church he is taking you to?"

"He said Catholic, he wants to go to a nondenominational after he moves out of his parent's house. He just is nervous to tell them, so he said it would be easier this way because his father thinks he is already pretty much Satan for dressing the way he does and the music he listens to, but he buys it with his money."

"What are you going to wear?"

"Probably the dress I wore to court."

"Will your mother let you go?"

"I honestly do not know."

"Will you be okay?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

"Your Dad."

"What about him?"

"The alter incident."

"He was drunk."

"He pulled you by your hair and made you confess your sins in front of the church when you were six."

"It's in the past, plus, he is in jail for another 20 years, so he can't hurt me."

"Okay, I just want to know if it would trigger you," he tells me looking me in the eyes.

"It probably will bring back bad memories, but besides that, I am sure I will be fine."

"Okay."

"Do you think he feels bad?"

"He does."

"Do you think mom will let me see him?"

"Why would you want to see him?" Sam asks highly confused.

"He is still my dad, that will never change, it says in the bible to honor your mother and father."

"But it also says to not provoke your children to anger."

"I just want to see my dad, I want him to know I have forgiven him, everyone makes mistakes, I want closure."

"Okay, we will ask your mother after church tomorrow. Now, go to bed you need the rest, you had a crazy night."
