I looked at myself in the mirror. I put on a white T-shirt with a heart, a red leather skirt, black leggings with hearts on them, a black leather jacket, and black combat boots with hearts on the side. (in case you couldn't tell, I really like hearts.) My hair was styled half up half down. I looked down at the red tips at the ends of my black hair. Even though all of Auradon has one, natural hair color, my natural red tips were probably the only thing I liked about what I brought with me from the Isle.

Evie came out of the bathroom wearing a blue, leather, long sleeve dress. We both looked at each other in silence. "Okay," she began. "Let's go."

We met the boys in the hallway before heading to the castle. We snuck through the halls and finally reached Ben's room. We handed him his clothes for the Isle and waited. After he got dressed, we headed outside to the limo.

"Jay! Keys! Remote!" Ben said as he handed Jay each item.

"Wait!" Evie yelled. "Something's wrong." We all looked at her in worry. However, all she did was fix Ben's beanie. Even in dire situations, Evie's fashionista senses were very high. "There."

"Shotgun!" a voice yelled. We all turned around to be face-to-face with Dude. I totally forgot that he could talk now.

"No, Dude. Stay," Carlos told the small dog. "The Isle is way too dangerous." Evie gasped in shock and Ben just stared.

"Did he just..." Jay questioned.

"Talk?" I asked.

"Yeah, I know. I'll tell you later," Carlos replied.

The four of us then began to pile into the limo. As soon as we were in, Evie began giving directions. "Okay, once we cross the bridge, park under the pier in the old garage. Got it?"

"Got it," Jay replied.

Even though the drive was fairly short, it almost felt like an eternity. Carlos, Evie and I all looked at each other as we were all very wary about returning to our old home. Once the limo parked, we all rushed out so we could hide it.

"Ben, help me with this tarp," Carlos told him. The two boys then grabbed the tarp. "Jay," Carlos said as he tossed some of the tarp over to Jay, Evie, and me. We began to cover the limo.

"It's really weird being back here," Evie said.

Jay looked at both Evie and me. He could tell that we were nervous, especially me. "We'll get in and get out," he reassured.

"Hey, what's in here?" Ben asked, looking into a large pipe.

We all ran over to him quickly. We all knew what was over there, but that was no place for Ben. "You don't want to know," Jay told him.

"Hey guys," Carlos said. "Keep it chill, all right? The last thing we need is our parents figuring our we're here."

We all nodded. I began to have that feeling where my lungs were trying to escape through my throat. I put my hand over my heart as I felt the beating start to speed up. Evie must've noticed this because she placed her hand on my shoulder and whispered to me: "Breathe."

As we were walking, a young boy came up and pushed me. "Hey!" I yelled.

Evie came to help me, but a young girl tried to steal her wallet. Evie caught her before she could escape. "Hey! Stop!" Evie yelled as she hung onto the girl's arm. I held onto the boy's arm. We both looked into their eyes; they were starving children. Suddenly, both of our hearts began to drop. "Just take it," Evie said, loosening her grip on the girl. I did the same with the boy. "Go on,"she told the children. The children then ran off with smiles and laughter.
