We approached the entrance to Auradon Prep. My stomach started to get butterflies in it. I guess you could say my feeling was nervousited; that's nervous and excited. I didn't really care about the high class society of Auradon, but I would have done whatever to get off that island.
"Do you think we would be considered princesses?" asked Evie. "You know, since our moms are queens."
"I don't think so," I replied. "I don't think they would give any royal status to villains."
"Mm, we'll see."
The limo came to a stop. Out the window, I could see a bunch of students waving and a marching band. Suddenly, Carlos and Jay started fighting over something they found. "Guys, stop!" I yelled.
The driver opened the limo door, and Carlos and Jay started to tumble out. Carlos was on the ground while Jay was standing with his foot on him. "Ow! Stop!" Carlos started. "You got everything else! Why do you want whatever this is?"
"Because you want it!" Jay responded. The three of us girls exited the limo while all that was going on.
"No! Give it to me! Ow! Let go!" Carlos continued.
It was then I noticed three people approach us. The first person was a teenage boy with golden-brown hair and a blue suit. The second person was a teenage girl who wore a pink dress with a blue sweater. The third person was a woman who wore a blue business-like dress with a pink bow on the front. "Guys, guys, guys," I whispered to the boys. "We have an audience."
"Just cleaning up," Jay said, trying to act good. "Get up," he said as he lifted Carlos to his feet.
"Leave it like you found it," the woman said in a singsong voice. "And by that, I mean just leave it.
We all looked around awkwardly as Jay threw everything back into the limo. He then noticed the teenage girl. "Hello, foxy," he said. I knew he was trying to flirt, but no one was buying it. "The name's Jay." The teenage girl laughed uncomfortably as she tried to not sound rude.
She seems nice. I thought to myself.
"Welcome to Auradon Prep," the woman said, leaning into Jay's view. "I'm Fairy Godmother, headmistress."
"The Fairy Godmother? As in bibbidi-bobbidi-boo?" Mal asked, pretending to wave a wand.
"Bibbidi-bobbidi, you know it."
"Yeah," Mal said, trying to sound interested. "I've always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just appeared, out of nowhere, with that sparkly wand and warm smile, and that sparkly wand."
"Subtle," I whispered to Mal. She just gave me a small glare, but smirked as she knew I was just playing.
"That was a long time ago, as I always say, 'don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future,'" Fairy Godmother said while waving her hands. We all flinched back, including the teenage girl and boy.
"It's so good to finally meet you all," the teenage boy said, stepping forward. "I'm Ben."
"Prince Benjamin," the teenage girl added. "Soon to be king!"
"You had me at prince," Evie said, approaching Ben. "My mom's a queen, which makes me a princess," she said, curtseying to him.
Really? Is that how you flirt? I mentally asked.
"The Evil Queen has no royal status here," the teenage girl responded. "And neither do you."
"Told you," I whispered as Evie got back in line with us.
"This is Audrey," Ben said.
"Princess Audrey," she said, interrupting him for the second time. "His girlfriend. Right Bennyboo?" Audrey said, grabbing Ben's hand.
