"i knew you shouldn't have trusted that guy." daniel told me as he handed me the ice pack.
"he was a nice guy. and he still is, he's just hurt." i said.
"madison, he hit you. he isn't consider as a good guy anymore." he told me as he removed any blood stain.
i realized how close we were, it didn't seem to bother daniel though. he continued to remove the blood stains on my face without saying anything.
"you'll need to take a shower." daniel said.
"huh, thanks. i know i stink." i scoffed and daniel laughed.
"didn't mean it that way, he said and i smiled. "we're done." he announced.
i got up and thanked him. he then walked out of the bathroom, letting me take a shower. i turned on the shower and striped down. as i was going to step in the shower, i heard a knock on the door.
"maddie?" daniel asked, on the other side of the door.
"yes?" i responded.
"i have some clothes here for you." he said. "can i come him?"
"y-yeah." i answered as i unlocked the door. i quickly wrapped a towel around my body and daniel came in, and handed me the clothes.
"i brought you my hoodie and a pair of my boxers." he said.
"thanks danny." i answered. i felt his gaze on me, which made me turn red. he looked at me from up to down, and even though i knew i had my towel wrapped around my body, i still felt like i was naked. and that feeling felt even more realer, when my towel slipped down. i will never forget the look on daniel's face. his mouth first formed an 'o' shape when he realized i was almost naked (happily, i still had my underwear on). he cursed under his breath and closed his eyes.
"i'm going to go maddie." he said as he turned red. his hands were still covering his face when he literally ran out of the bathroom. and even 15 minutes after he was gone, i was still red. i stopped the hot water that was falling on me and i got out of the shower.
