[ you're important to me.

i think if there's anything that will last forever, is that.

whether we separate, stay in touch or rarely speak again,

you will always be that little someone i really do care for,

that i would sacrifice everything for to protect and keep safe]

[1 week later]

"are you ready, danny?" i asked as i knocked on his bedroom door.
"wait a minute!" he shouted and i sighed before leaning against his door.

i waited for more than one minute before he decided to open up the door. as soon as he saw me, his jaw dropped and his eyes widened. he stared at me from my heels to my head, which made me turn red.

"you—you look nice, maddie. really really nice." he said and i smiled to him.
"thanks, you don't look too bad yourself." i thanked him and he showed me a cheeky smile.
"are we ready to go now?" he asked and i nodded.
"goodbye boys!" i shouted but none of them responded and i figured that it must have been because it was still 3AM and last night, or more like this morning, we watched a movie ( not harry potter this time).

we took daniel's car since i didn't have any because i still don't have my driver license (almost 18 and no license, sounds good).

the trip to my parent's house was a long one. that explains why we had to leave the house so early. we both had woken up at 2am and got ready in one hour, which is kind of a miracle.

it didn't bother me to wake up this early since i basically hadn't sleep last night. after the movie, i tried to fall asleep but i couldn't. i was too nervous for today.

anyway, i'll have all the time to sleep. it was a pretty long ride that was awaiting for me. 15 longs hours...

it had been officially 10 hours since we were in the car. the sun had risen up and we had survived to more than the half of the trip.

the past few hours were pretty calm. daniel played a few songs on the radio and we didn't really talk during the trajectory. we stopped a few times to go to the toilet and 2 times to eat something.
