i looked at the peaceful sleeping daniel laying next to me. he really deserved this sleep after the adventure we had just experienced.
the past events played again in my head, daniel defended me. he defended me... and he looked so hot doing it. he stood up for me like no one ever did and it really felt like he meant what he was saying. for a second, it felt like we were really in a relationship. and i enjoyed this second, then i remember we weren't. the sad reality.
my thoughts were interrupted by the sound that daniel's phone makes when he receives a text. who would text him at like 5AM? curiosity took over me, making me grab daniel's phone and check who was this secret sender.
i frowned when i saw the contact name that appeared on the screen was : meghan❤︎. who the hell was that? god, i sounded like a overprotective girlfriend and i wasn't even with daniel. i took a deep breath and unlocked his phone. this could just be his friend or his neighbor or a fan or even a sweet girl he met in the streets, who knows? it could be anyone. it doesn't have to be his girlfriend or something like that.

okay, this made me kind of doubt what i was thinking earlier. i mean, do you call someone you just met 'baby'? and why would daniel have put a heart next to her name? the other girls in his contact list don't have a heart next to their names. this was weird. extremely weird. i scrolled up to see if they had other discussions in the past.
i was surprised to see that there first conversation started a while ago. i read a lot of their daily convos when i saw one that actually had my interest.
