Chapter 35

March 10th 2020 Spencer's 2nd birthday also 2 months till Erin's due date
Jay's POV
Jay~ " baby do you have the banner for me to put up?"
Erin~ " oh sorry babe it's right here!"
Jay~ " it's okay, hey what's wrong?" I say stepping down off of the step block
Erin~ " nothing why?"
Jay~ " well you've been acting different since last week"
Erin~ " it's nothing baby I promise"
Jay~ " okay" I say and step back on the block I was standing on putting Spencer's banner up on the back porch
Erin~ " hey babe, I need to go get Spencer's cake is he going to be okay here or do you want me to take him with me?"
Jay~ " he can stay here, I just have a couple more things to put up and then I'm done. He's still napping right?"
Erin~ " yeah he should stay asleep for another hour"
Jay~ " alright I love you be careful" I gave Erin a kiss and she left to go get the cake. I finish putting up a couple more decorations and I hear Spencer over his baby monitor so I go and get him out of him crib and let him play in the living room which we have fenced off for him,
Erin's POV
I pick up Spencer's cake and I run into a girl from highschool who was a bitch to me
Emma~ " OMG ERIN HI!!"
Erin~ " oh I Emma!" I force a smile
Emma~ " your pregnant do you know the father?! After all you were sleeping with every guy in high school"
Erin~ " uh yeah my husband" I say flashing my ring
Emma~ " OMG how long have you been married!"
Erin~ " 3 years December 14th"
Emma~ " is this your first kid?"
Erin~ " no I have a 2 year old at home it's his birthday today so I'm picking up his cake"
Emma~ " I didn't get a invite?"
Erin~ " no I ran out"
Emma~ " Okay" my phone started ringing and it was Jay calling to see where I was
Erin~ " I've got to run"
Emma~ " alright I'll see you around I guess"
Erin~ " yeah I'll see you around" I walked off and got to my car when Emma came back up to me
Emma~ " hey Erin!"
Erin~ " yeah"
Emma~ " tell your husband I said hi"
Erin~ " I will" I put Spencer's cake in my car and head home
Jay's POV
Me and Spencer were watching SpongeBob SquarePants which he loves and he kept getting so pissed of when it went to commercials  and Erin had came in while it was on commercial
Erin~ " I take it he's watching spongebob and it's on commercial?"
Jay~ " yup"
Erin~ " you know you can skip though them right?"
Jay~ " seriously! He's been getting pissed for a hour now" Erin grabbed the remote and skipped though the commercials which made Spence happy
Jay~ " well I know that now"
Erin~ " so how does his cake look" Erin opened the box which was just for Spencer to destroy that had spongebob squarepants on it like the big cake that was for everyone
Jay~ " they look great baby!"
Erin~ " the bakery did a great job!"
A hour later
Spencer's party is starting and everyone from the 21st was here
Hank~ " Halstead where's my grandson!"
Jay~ " he's coming Erin is getting him dressed"
Hank~ " okay"
Erin~ " here's the birthday boy!!" Erin had Spencer in this cop uniform that even had a bullet proof vest with it and a little fake gun
Spencer~ " DADA!" He screamed at the top of his lungs
Jay~ " hey little buddy!! You look so handsome in your cop uniform!! Where did you even find this Er!"
Erin~ " I have people" she said looking over at mouse
Jay~ " ahhh" everyone was playing with Spencer in the pool
Kevin~ " come on Lindsay get your ass in here"
Erin~ " I said no kev" Erin was in her bathing suit that was a one pice but it was from the maternity website Erin shops at
Adam~ " Erin you have two seconds to get in before me and Kevin throw you in here"
Erin~ " kiss. My . Ass!" Kevin got out the pool and grabbed Erin
Erin~ "KEVIN ATWATER PUT ME DOWN!!"
Kevin~ " as you wish" With that said Kevin threw her in the water causing me to laugh
Erin~ "DAMN YOU KEVIN!
Kevin~ " I warned you!"
Erin swam over to where me and Spencer were and hung out with us
Erin~ " hey Kim what time is it?"
Kim~ " it's 2"
Erin~ " alright come on babe let's do to Spence's presents"
Jay~ " alright lets do it!" Everyone gathered around Spencer while he opened his presents, he was finally at the age where he knew how to actually open the wrapping paper
Erin~ " Spencer this one is from grandpa" after Erin said that Spencer squealed out of excitement!  Spencer opened the box and there was a battery operated cop car that Spencer can ride
Jay~ " where did you even find that hank?"
Hank~ " I was at the store and I found it!"
Erin~ " Jay look he loves it!" She said bringing my attention to Spencer who was sitting on the car while he opened the rest of his presents
15 minuets later
Spencer finished opening with his presents and playing with each one of them as he opened them and he moves on to the cake. We brought Spencer's 'play cake' as Erin calls it and sand happy birthday to him and he DESTROYED it he had it everywhere on his face! I just had to laugh
Erin~ " okay  mister you can give him a bath" Erin said while laughing too
Jay~ " alright as long as I don't get in trouble for going this" I grabbed a pice of cake and smashed in Erin's face
Erin~ "JAY HALSTEAD! Your gonna get it now!!" Erin said grabbing a pice of cake and smashes in my face
Jay~ " okay, okay, okay,okay fair"
Around 4 everyone left and it was me, Erin, Spencer, and hank
Hank~ " so if you don't mind I could watch Spence this weekend"
Erin~ " yeah,you can hank he's your grandson!"
Jay~ " yeah, hank you don't have to ask"
Hank~ " well I like to ask in case you two have something you want to do with him"
Erin~ " true"
After 45 minuets of helping us clean up hank left and  me, Erin, and spence chilled out and watched 'SpongeBob SquarePants' while Spencer laid between us with his sippy cup
