Chapter 38

Jay's POV
It's been 6 months since Erin had Nadia and she gets to go back to work today which I'm extremely excited to have my partner back, I truly dislike working with upton as my partner she's always trying to make some sort of move on me.
{ at the district}
Erin~ " hey hey hey everyone!"
Antonio~ " hey Lindsay glad your back!" Antonio gave Erin a hug
Upton~ " hey Erin glad your back"
Erin~ " it's so good to be back!"
Hank~ " hey kiddo you and Halstead suit up we got a case" me and Erin make our way down stairs and start to suit up in our bullet proof gear
Erin~ " here jay" Erin said handing me the strap on her vest
Upton~ " hey jay you need help with your vest?"
Erin~ " I've got it Hailey" Erin said strapping up my vest
Erin~ " did she do that all the time while I was gone?"
Jay~ " pretty much, but I have to admit I like you helping me better" I said whispering into her ear
Erin~ " oh yeah"
Jay~ " yeah" me and Erin get in the truck and roll out to the scene
Hank~ " Emily Russellson 34 multiple stab wounds and a single shot to the head"
Erin~ " damn overkill much"
Jay~ " ya you said it"
Hank~ " apparently nobody goes to the park to look at anything anymore because nobody saw anything"
Erin~ " really, it's the park what do people do anymore" 
Hank~ " I don't know but somebody had to see something"
Erin~ " yeah maybe they need a kick in the ass to know" me and hank just kinda laughed
Officer~ " detective Lindsay hi!"
Erin~ " hey officer what can I do for you?"
Officer~ " go on a date with me"
Erin~ " see I'd love to but I don't think my husband would approve" I was going to say something but Erin's Erin so I didn't really need to
Officer~ " oh your married"
Erin~ " yeah"
Officer~ " who's the lucky guy?"
Erin~ " detective Halstead"Erin said pointing to me
Officer~ "perks of being your partner I guess"
Erin~ " what did you just say!"
Officer~ " chill it was just a joke"
Erin~ " okay first of all:never ever tell me to chill. And second of all: if you ever say that again I will make sure this was your last crime scene understand me?"
Officer~ " okay geez" the guy walked off and I walked to Erin
Jay~ " what was that about?"
Erin~ " rookie cop who needs to learn when to keep his mouth shut"
Jay~ " oooo okay. I take it you taught him when it's time to keep his mouth shut?"
Erin~ " I wouldn't say that, just helped him to not make me wanna punch him" I just laughed Erin was a sassy badass cop and wife.
Hank~ " hey Lindsay Halstead, come here" me and Erin made our way over to hank
Jay~ " what's up sarge"
Hank~ " I'd like to introduce you two to detective smith, he's going to be working the case with us"
Erin~ " hi, I'm Erin and this is my partner jay"
Carson~ " hi my first name is Carson"
Jay~ " hi Carson"
Erin~ " hey jay who's that guy staring at us" as soon as Erin points him out he starts running to me and Erin
Erin's POV
Carson and hank weren't to far behind us and Somehow I got ahead of jay and I had to jump a fence and I cut my leg pretty deep but I had to keep chasing after the guy, when I caught up to him I tackled him and hit my head and it started to bleed
Jay~ " ERIN"
Erin~ " I'm fine, just get him"
Carson~ " Erin you sure your okay"
Erin~ " yeah what's a little bit of blood gonna hurt" I said reaching up to the cut and hissed as I touched it
Jay~ " you good?"
Erin~ " yup I'm good"
Jay~ " okay, alright asshole get up!" When the guy didn't get up jay grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and lifted him up
Jay~ " you see her is she would have been hurt and worse I'd kill you understand me!" The guy looked st jay and then spit in his face
Erin~ " oh no"
Carson~ " what?"
Erin~ " you'll see" jay punched the guy causing him to fall back on the ground
Carson~ " hmmm"
Erin~ " ya jay hates getting spit on"
Carson~ " I can see that" me and jay got back to the scene and jay put the guy in a squad car after jay pushed him in the car he pulled me to the side
Jay~ " babe you cut your head pretty bad let's get you to med"
Erin~ " I'm fine jay I promise"
Jay~ " Erin please" I could here the worry in his voice
Erin~ " okay let's go" I let out a weak smile
Jay~ " hey hank I'm going to take Erin to med to make sure she's okay"
Hank~ " alright when you get done get back to 21st"
Jay~ " alright" me and jay left and headed to med
After 2 hours and 7 stitches we finally left and headed back to the 21st

Antonio~ " damn Lindsay you look like hell"
Erin~ " thank Antonio I can always count on you to state the obvious"
Antonio~ " in all seriousness you okay?"
Erin~ " my head hurts and all but I'm okay"
Hank~ " Erin come here a sec" I walked into hanks office
Erin~ " what's up?"
Hank~ " are you good to work?"
Erin~ " will didn't say I couldn't work, so yeah"
Hank~ " alright if you feel any pain and I know what a hardheaded person you are let me know"
Erin~ " alright I will"  I headed to the locker room to change my jeans cause mine are all ripped when Carson walked in
Carson~ " so how long have you and jay been partners?"
Erin~ " about 7 years now"
Carson~ " well don't you think it's time for a change" he said pushing up to the locker
Erin~ " uh no I don't and I'm married to back the hell up!"
Carson~ " well maybe you could forget your husband" I pushed him away from me
Erin~ " you need to back up before I call jay in here!"
Carson~ " what is your little partner gonna do to me? Punch me? Yeah I'm real scared" Carson pushed me up against the locker and kissed me
Erin~ " JAY!" I yelled and Jay came running in seeing Carson kiss me and trying to unbutton my jeans
Jay~ " Carson what the hell!"
Carson~ " she came onto me man!"
Erin~ "like hell I did! You came onto me!" Jay looked at me and he could tell I wasn't lying and he could see the fear in my eyes. jay punched Carson and pushed him up against the locker
Carson~ " oh please your just a little bitch who doesn't want your husband to find out" jay slapped him
Jay~ " that mouth!"
Erin~ " jay put him down"
Jay~ " why?"
Erin~ " because I asked you to please"I touched his shoulder and my hand was shaking from what had just occurred. Jay looked at me and let him down
I walked out of the locker room and walked right into hanks office
Erin~ " I want him gone!"
Hank~ " who?"
Erin~ " Carson! I want him gone now!"
Hank~ " what happened?"
Erin~ " he just tried to rape me!!" I said breaking down
Hank~ " he what! Where is that son of a bitch!"
Erin~ " last I saw he was in the locker room with jay"
Hank stormed out of his office and Kevin walked in and saw he crying
Kevin~ " hey Lindsay you okay?"
I shook my head no and Kevin sat down next to me and wrapped his arms around me and let me cry into his shoulder a few minuets later jay came in and taped Kevin on his shoulder and Kevin stood up so jay could sit down. When jay sat down I instantly wrapped my arms around him and cried
Jay~ " it's okay baby I've got you"  I looked up at him
Erin~ " can we please go home I want to see Spencer and Nadia"
Jay~ " whatever you want to do" hank walked in
Hank~ " hey kiddo, you okay?" I shook my head yes
Jay~ " hey hank is it okay if me and Erin go home for the rest of the day?"
Hank~ " yeah, if you want take tomorrow off"
Jay~ " thanks hank" me and jay headed home and stoped by Dunkin doughnuts and for frozen hot chocolate and headed home to chill out for the night
