okay....thinking back maybe I should have added this too the last chapter...but at the time I wasn't thinking clearly but I promise this is the last short chapter of this book.

They put me into the boat after they had thrown Kevin in.
"If the waves don't kill you two then the lighting will." I felt the boat move. "Don't try and yell for help or we will shoot the boat."
We laid silently in the boat not moving for a while. I didn't plan on yelling for help...that was till I heard the thunder over us. It was no telling how far away we were to land.
"We can't just stay here Hialley, we need to get out this boat before the storm really hit." I felt Kevin moving next to me.
"There is switch blade knife in my shoe."" How come you are just now saying something about this?" I managed to get my blind fold off my eyes so I could see.
"How can I remember when I've been freaking out for how ever long we've been kidnapped?" I looked over at Kevin. This was the first time I've seen his face in days. His face had cuts and it was swollen from being hit repeatedly.
"Now isn't the time to fight, we need to work together here." I turned my legs so they were near his tied up hands. Kevin pulled out the knife. It took awhile for him to get the rope of me. I took the blind fold off him and cut his hands free. When he moved his arms he groaned in pain.
"What's the matter?" The waves were shacking the boat hard and harder. The storm was getting worse.
"I think my arm is broken." I remember that they did slam him on the floor when we first brought to their hide out. "It hurts when I move it." I took my time and looked at his shirt.
"It's swollen." I looked around for paddles for the boat. Damn it! They took them. A big clap of thunder sounded off over us making me duck down into the boat. Rain started to come down.
"We have to get out of the boat. Will get hit by lighting if we stay here." Kevin yelled out over the thunder.
"We can't." I told him back.
"Up ahead I can see land. If we get out and swim we can find help." The boat was filling up with rain water.
"Kevin I can't swim." Kevin looked at me.
"You going to have to try. Just kick your feet and if a wave come hold your breath and don't panic." They was easier said then done.
"What if I drawn?" Thunder sounded off again.
"I'll be with you, I need you. I can't do this on my own Hialley. I have a broke arm so I can't swim by myself." A big wave came and picked the boat up and slammed in back down in the water. Kevin picked himself up with his good arm and jumped in the water. He came up in the water and looked at me.
"I can't."
"I am not leaving you behind. Just jump." I closed my eyes in the rain. When he told me jump again, I did. I jumped into the big waves. Kevin put his good arm around me as I came up in the water. We both started kicking our legs. Waves started rolling in higher and higher taking us under. Kevin told me to keep kicking my feet . It seemed endless. Wave after wave kept coming. We were growing tired. Kevin kept telling me to keep going. Kevin managed to pull me out of the water. We had made it.
"Where are we?""We are on a camp ground. Come on." I stood up and followed him as the stormed picked up.
