Andrew's  P.O.V

I sat at my desk looking out the window at the rain. Everyone in class was talking about it. It was all over the news and every radio station. The police has told me and Andrew that the guy who had took Kevin and Hialley were found and taken to jail as well as their boss to jail. I thought that was the good news, that everything was over. But I was wrong. Things weren't over yet. The police searched the hide of the four men and their boss. Kevin and Hialley weren't found. They questioned the men, only one admitted to the kidnapping and told them where to find Hialley and Kevin. The news wasn't good. Kevin and Hialley were tied up and put on boat  four days ago when the storm was coming in. The police and the coast guards set out a search team to find the boat. The boat was found but they weren't.  The boat was found over turned over 80 miles out in the ocean.

The police are searching on and land and sea for them. There are rumors going around that they are dead. I can't even think about something about that. I can't think about my good friend, my best friend....dead. I couldn't think that. I know Kevin, he wouldn't give up that easy. I walked up stair with my lunch. I hadn't seem Ramona all day. She never skipped lunch, but then again she really wasn't eating much at school since the kidnapping. I turned the corner and found her sitting on the floor next to her locker. She looked like her mind was some place else.

"Ramona, are you okay." I've never seen that look on her face.

"They called me down to the police station last night...." Ramona blurted out. "They wanted me to identify a shoe. It was Hialley's shoe." I sat down next to her on the floor.

"Where did they find this shoe?" Hialley's shoe had to have washed up. Which could means they were....dead.

"At Richard Wild's Camping grounds." I looked at her.

"Wait...I know that place. We were kids, My dad use to take me and Kevin camping there all the time. We would hike there so much that Kevin knew the whole trail even in the dark." Ramona raised her head.

"At this point they could be dead." I shook my head. I didn't want to here that.

"No they wouldn't Ramona. If anything they would go for help are try and get help."

"Hialley can't swim Andrew."

"But Kevin can, remember he was a life guard at the city pool." She had to remember that. All the girls at the pool would watch him.

"What makes you think they went for help?" Ramona asked me.

"I know Kevin just like you know Hialley. Kevin doesn't give up, it's not in him. They had to have swim for help. They aren't in the water I just know it. Kevin wouldn't live Hialley behind.I have this feeling that the police aren't looking in the right places for them."

"Then we should go to Officer Nielsen and tell him."

"We can't, he wouldn't believe me with out proof." Ramona's face turned red all of a sudden.

"The what was the point of you telling me all this crap if you weren't going to even do anything about it. I am tired of sitting by and not doing nothing!"  Ramona was right. What was the point of me saying all that if I wasn't going to do anything.

"We should go look for them." Ramona looked at me.

"How are we going to know where to look Andrew." I smiled.

"I know that place pretty good. I got a map and I got some camping stuff we can use. We can go after school." I saw a spark of hope in Ramona's face.

After school me and Ramona went right over to me house. I packed blankets and flashes lights. I wasn't leaving till I found my friends. I packed a small box of food and car charger. It was late when went to Richard Wild's Camping grounds. When we got there the cops and a big search team where already out there. They were looking along  the ocean side. They weren't looking in the right place. The cops couldn't know we were out here looking too. I drove my jeep into the other side of the camp ground in the trees. No one would see us here.  Me and Ramona got out and started looking. When it got too dark we got out the flash lights we had and kept looking. We ended our search at about two a.m. when it started raining. I turned the heater on in my jeep and we sat in the jeep eating sandwiches that she made. So far we were coming up short just like the police had.  I looked over at Ramona was silent. She had been most of the day. I know she was upset, but she wouldn't even talk to me. Hell, she never said anything nice to me. I get that she regret sleeping with me, but was I really that bad. I mean I liked her. I know I had a bad way of showing it but I really liked but  she didn't seem to like me.
