and we kissed, her lips were softer than fur itself, they tasted like chocolate ice cream and just the thought of that made me giggle to myself.

Our lips moved in perfect sync, it was amazing , I felt fireworks something I didn't feel when I kissed Sophia, this was special , this was our moment and I was loving it.

KENZIE'S POV

I never thought this was going to happen , not at all , i-it was so sudden and yet it was like the best thing I've ever experienced in my life. But it's wrong. He's dating Sophia and I'm dati-

"J-john i can't, we cant happen and you know it" i say pulling away from our kiss

"be mine Kenzie! Please. i know i'm dating Sophia.. b-but it'll be like she's not there at all!" he reassures me with a glance of desperation

"Break up with her. i-if you want to be with me that is.." I sigh in regret, this should have never happened it just shouldn't have.

"I um i c-" he shakes his head looking at me in the eyes, I look down at my feet and breathe in and out

"So I was going to be some side chick?!"

"NO no no of course not it's just that-"

"You like her, I'm ok with that. I don't need you to be with me over 'PITY'" I interrupt empathising the pity and getting up to leave but he stops me once more

"I cant just leave her ok? it doesn't work like that-"

"I don't give two craps, if I meant that much to you, you would've already done it but no" I interrupt once more, sorry I just don't want to hear him speak anyone.

"Kenzie! Hear me out!" He yells out, I look at my watch and mess with the little charm hanging with it, then I check the time. SHIT 12:25PM I GOTTA GO

"I GOTTA GO, LIKE seriously we'll talk later, um bye I guess" I gulped and rushed myself out of that spot I didn't really hear if Johnny even said anything I'm too worried about getting home and explaining my little outing..

RIGHT. LIGHT BULB.

I rush over to the nearest supermarket and grab a box of my favourite cereals LUCKY CHARMS I mean not my favourite FAVOURITE but it'll do. After paying for the box of cereals I sprint over to my house and take out my house keys quickly unlocking the door to spot Lauren , Brynn , Maddie , Mom and Greg staring at the door, I look at them and they all start yelling at me XD

"WHERE DID YOU GO"

"OMF WE WERE WORRIED WHAT THE FRIK KENZ"

"MADDIE LANGUAGE! BUT ITS TRUE YOU DIDN'T EVEN TELL BRYNN OR LAUREN"

"YEA IMAGINE HOW FRIKIN SCARY IT IS TO SEE BLOOD IN THE BATHROOM FLOOR AND YOU TOTALLY GONE"

I decide to 'explain myself' before they started yelling and assuming that I cut , which maybe I-i did but they don't need to know that..

"I went to the store to get some Lucky Charms thats all" I say putting the box down on the counter, they all look at each other and Brynn bursts out with this:

"What about the blood oh AND ALL THE CALLS WE DID?!" They all nod. Crap think think think

"Nose bleed and my phone's on silence sorry , the ringer's off" I snap back and show them the ringer, tensions off my shoulders, For now anyways.

"Mmm ok go get it cleaned up after you've had breakfast" My mom hesitated and glanced over to Greg with a fear you could smell from a mile away..

*NIGHT*

I lean back on my bed frame and breathe, that's all I need to do, I need to breathe. Brynn and Lauren left so I'm alone again , I pick my phone up and spot a new text

john: can we talk now?

hmph why? I totally forgot about all this

me: i think we should stay friends ok?

I did not want to type that, I honestly erased the words at least a thousand times

john: o-oh, i'll break up with her!

me: ...

john: I WILL

Something tells me I shouldn't say yes

john: TODAY

john: PLEASE

but ya know my mind is a rebel against my own thoughts

me: fine.

john: we can meet up when everyones asleep at our spot?

me: our spot?

john: the place by the swings, we'll call it our place nobody usually goes to that park anyways

me: i thought children went there often?

john: no, since that incident on the climing frame no one's gone there, except from us..

me: our spot

A slight smile takes over my expression, we've got a spot , our spot

john: meet you there everyday at 11:30pm, it'll be our secret

me: today? i'm free

john: yea , I've gotta take care of something first

JOHN'S POV

I knock on Sophia's house door and wait for her to come open , she comes out smiling and pecks my lips but I stop her.

"Ummm Johnny what are you doing here??" she looks at me as if she's hiding something and gives a sharp look inside, I hear quick rushing and a door opening, probably the back door.. Mmm she's hiding something and I know it

"We need to talk" I say letting myself in and inspecting the place, the sofa was roughly untidy and the sheets were all over the place, she looks at me and tells me to sit down while she's getting a cup of water.

She brings it back and I take it all down in a gulp, I stare at her intensely and she decides to say something

"S-so what did you want to talk about" she spluttered , I could hear the shakiness in her voice

"I um came to-" My words were stopped by a sharp pain stabing me in the head, I squint my eyes and rub them shaking my head.

"I mean I-" there it was again but this time I was getting dizzier and dizzier until I felt myself on the floor unconcious
