Hinawakan 'ko ang kamay nya, nginitian ko sya.
"I'll give you a gift, for this 24 hours."
He smiled brightly. "Really?What is that?"
"Let's go out."
He frowned, "You sure no tricks involved?" I laughed. "This is a cease fire,trust me." Hinila 'ko ang kamay nya.
"Let's go."
"Saan tayo pupunta? 12:00 palang ng madaling araw." I smiled at him.
"Sinabi ko na sayo. Meron lang akong dalawampu't apat na oras para maging mabait sayo." He smiled at me.
"I'll accept the cease fire,then."
"I'm raising the white flag!" Sabi 'ko at iwinagayway ang puting kumot na dinala namin. "Wala munang gyera para sa birthday mo!" I winked at him.

Dinala ko sya sa isang food bar,kung saan kami unang nagkakilala.

"ISANG BOTE PA NG WINE! PLEASE!" Napatigil ako sa paglalaro sa phone 'ko. I looked at the guy. Obviously, nagpapakalunod sya sa alak.. Hindi naman sya mukhang problemadong klase ng tao, nakikita ko sya sa school namin. Pero hindi ko alam ang pangalan nya.
"Hoy." Nilapitan ko sya. Ewan 'ko. Pero naiinis ako,hindi dahil naglalangoy sya sa alak. There's something more that I hate about him.
"Bakit?" Uh! Ang baho nya! Amoy alak! He's making me feel nausea! How can guys like this still manage to live? They're just wasting their lives.
"Pwede ba itigil mo 'yang paglalasing mo?"
"Sir, ito po 'yung glass of--"
Umupo ako sa stool sunod sa inuupuan nya. I'll discuss to this guy how stupid he is.. For making his self as miserable as this.
"Cancel his order." Sabi 'ko. Nanlaki ang mga mata nya.
"Sino ka ba?" I smiled at him sweetly.
"Hindi ako 'yung tipo ng tao na makikielam sa kapwa nya tao."
His eyes squinted. "Huh? Eh bakit ka nakikiealam sakin?"
I sighed. "Sabihin na nating nakikielam nga ako,pero hindi sayo."
"Saan?"
"Sa pera mo." Tama, sa pera nya.
"Kung sasayangin mo lang 'yan,give it to me. I need it."
He laughed unbelievably.
."What? Alam mo Miss you're differently amazing. Who are you to say such things to me? don't you know who the hell I am?" I smiled at him once again.
"Hindi mo ba naisip 'kung gaano naghirap ang mga magulang mo para lang sa perang winawaldas mo sa luho mo ngayon? Kung gagastahin mo lang yan just like that, just give it to me. In that way, you'll help."
He chuckled. "My parents doesn't even care about me."
"You're stupid."
"Stupid? Huh? Bakit?"
"You're stupid,just stupid.. That's it."

"Remember that night?" I asked. Naka pajama lang kami ngayon, but who cares. What matters now is we are together. Me and Timothy, in the most valuable day of his year.
"Yeah. Daig mo pa si Mommy, she'd never spoke me that way. But you're brave enough to break the ice." I smiled at him.
"Alam 'kong birthday mo, pero please. Ayoko na ng alak." He chuckled.
"Naiintindihan 'ko."
"Waiter, one guava and pomelo flavored juice. Tacos and fries will be doing good as well."
"Coming right up! Ma'am."
I looked at Timothy.
"Missed dancing?" 'Kung hindi ko pa nasasabi,Timothy is great at dancing. Kapag nakita mo syang sumayaw.. you'll never take your eyes off him. He's a human magnet.
He smiled at me.
"Not as much as I missed you." He's a dancer-singer on our former junior high school. He has that soulful voice that I'm sure that you'll never ever forget once you've heard it.
"Aish! Kumain ka na nga lang!"
He smiled at me. I smiled in return, Timothy is an open book. A fragile glass. That will break instantly if you touch him.

Mukha syang masaya but inside he's suffering.

"You don't know why I am here." And now what? He's furious. Aish. Can't stand this guy.
"Then tell me,I'll listen." Uminom sya ng wine, he's eyes were almost closed. Drowsy.
"I don't know..Why you're here but---."
"Ye?"
"But if you wan't to listen to my problems, you've gotta brace yourself... It's kinda---heavy."
I nodded "Don't worry, I'll be strong for you."
"What's your name anyway?"
"It's Kylene. Kai will be nice." I smiled at him.
"My father doesn't love me." He smiled, a weak one..
