Kier and Jake

"Kier." My jaw dropped as I hear that name, how?
"Is he----." She nodded. I can't believe it. Kaya pala sobrang gaan ng loob ko kay Red. Lukso ng dugo. I really can't believe it.
"But how....?" Kier? How did it happened? They had sex obviously,but why? Are they in a relationship before?
"Your brother and I were dating since before Timothy and I met." She bit her lower lip.
Si Red ay anak ng kapatid 'ko sa Ama.
"I thought he'll run away from me so.. I made that Timothy-issue."
She frowned. It's hurting her pride, I know it.

Si Kier Madrigal. He was a year older than me. But still.. I can't believe it. Hindi ganoong klaseng lalaki si Kier. Tahimik sya at madalas napagkakamalang bakla dahil sa kaputian nya at singkit na mga mata. Mahilig mag-aral at malambing sa mga magulang nya. He used to be close with me and my Mama as well.
"I can't believe it.."
"But you must."
She smiled at me weakly.
"I'm sorry if it happens to be Kier."
"No! You shouldn't be sorry! Hindi ka ba masaya? Parte ka na ng pamilya namin!"
I smiled at her. "And this nice guy is my nephew? That would be so nice!"
"Pero.. Sinaktan pa din kita noon. And to think that I really did that kills me through guilt."
"Shh. Tapos na 'yun, ang mahalaga pamangkin ko si Red."
She frowned.
"Nakausap 'ko si Timothy noong isang araw." Thoughts played on my mind. Niloloko nya ba si Kier? Uh! Wash it off! Trust her Kai! She's your sister in law.
"Then?"
"He's crying. Begging if I can talk to you."
"For what?"
"Timothy loves you. Believe my words."

I rolled my eyes.
"Hindi ko makita na totoo 'yun."
"Kailangan mo lang imulat ang mga mata 'mo,Kai. Mahal ka nya. Alam kong nakikita mo,pero pinipilit 'mong hindi makita." I smiled at her.
"Any plans with my brother?" Iniba 'ko ang usapan. She started to blush. Jake's a nice cute girl. Wala akong kapatid. And maybe she'll be my dream come true of a good sister.
"He told me to invite you to..."
"To what?" I smiled.
"To our wedding!"
"That will be so nice!" I look at her as her cheeks turn to red.
"You really love my brother, don't you?" She smiled at me.
"Yeah. Dati ayaw ko sa kanya kasi he looks boring but day by day .. Bigla ko nalang naramdaman 'to. Then I realized, I can't live without him."
"I'm happy for you."
"Thanks, little sis.. I guess."
I chuckled. "Kailan ang kasal?"
She handed me a pink and white envelope.
"Punta kayo ng Mama mo ha!"
"I can't wait to see you in white!"
I said cheerfully.
"At oo nga pala, bride's maid ka."
"Ah! Thank you! Who will be my groom's man?" I asked. She chuckled.
"Timothy."
"Is this planned?" She shrugged.
I looked at myself. Tapos na akong mag make up. Simple lang ang make up 'ko at hindi mo nga mahahalatang nag-make up ako. I just wanna look nice today.

Hindi ko inakala na sa dinami-dami ng tao sa mundong 'to, si Jake at Kier pala ang itinadhana sa isa't-isa. Life is really surprising.

"Sigurado kayong hindi kayo sasama?"
"Hindi anak, pupuntahan ko si Cindy." May panyo syang hawak-hawak at ipinupunas nya 'yun sa mukha nya. Umiiyak sya.
"Bakit ba kayo umiiyak,Mama?"
"Sa tinagal-tagal mong naging bitter anak,ngayon lang ulit kitang nakitang masaya. Masaya ako para sayo,Kai." I sighed.
"Ma,hindi ako ang ikakasal."
"Alam 'ko,practice lang. Pero Kai naman. Malapit ka ng mag-18!"
"So?"
"Maghanap ka na ng magiging asawa mo Kylene Margareth." I laughed.
"Dyan ka na nga."
"Babye anak!" I smiled at her and drove off.

Pumasok ako dun sa kwarto na ginawa para sa mga abay. Garden ang Psyche's Arms so garden wedding ang magaganap.

"Hi! Nandito ka pala!" I rolled my eyes. It's Chynna. Isa pang plastic na palaka. Isa pa 'yang baliw na baliw kay Timothy noong high school kami.
"Obviously?" I don't wanna ruin the day of my sibling,as well as my sister in-law pero I can't help it. People around me are so tempting.
"Abay ka din?" Tanong ni Anjeneth. I rolled my eyes once again. Kumpleto pala ang tropang plastic. Woah. I laughed.
"Hindi ka pa rin nagbabago,Anjeneth. Tanga ka pa din." Sumimangot silang dalawa.
"Kambal nga kayo. Malamang abay ako. Hindi naman ako mag aabalang magdamit ng ganito 'kung hindi diba?"
"Tinatanong lang naman namin!" -Chynna
"Oo nga!" -Anjeneth
"Mabuti pa tumabi nalang kayo sa dinaraanan 'ko. Baka masampal ko pa kayo."
I said,passing the two of them.
"Nagbago sya."
"Hindi na sya mabait katulad dati."
"I CAN HEAR YOU TALK THROUGH MY BACK!"
I chuckled, yeah.

Maybe I really changed. Not maybe. I really changed,for the better.

"Okay! Maghawak na ng mga braso ladies and gentleman! The wedding march is about to start." Sabi ng organizer. I sighed. Here we go again. Timothy Mojares again.
"I guess you're stuck with me."
He grinned.
"Not for too long,Timothy."
Pinicture-ran kami kanina. Para daw sa album nina Jake at Kier.

He kissed my hands as we depart ways. Hays buti naman. Hindi ko kailangang tumabi sa kanya.
"Kayo na ulit?"
Tanong ni Anjeneth.
"Tingin nyo?"
"Hindi?" Sagot ni Chynna. I chuckled.
"Oo nga pala. Kayo nga pala 'yung mga mangkukulam na epal na wala nang ginawa kundi mag-orasyon para hiwalayan nya ako noon." They changed their reactions.
"H-hindi ah!"
"We wish you the best!" I laughed. Desperate ladies.
"Don't worry, we aren't together.. Sa inyo na sya." I winked at them.

Nagpalakpakan kami. 'Yung iba nag-iiyakan na. Binuhat ni Kier si Jake,tapos na ang kasal. Mag-asawa na sila.

Napansin 'kong kanina pang nakatingin sakin si Timothy kaya tinignan 'ko sya. He winked at me. I rolled my eyes. Such a flirt.

"I waited for you!" Hinawakan nya ang kamay 'ko at hinila ako sa reception area. Nababaliw na talaga ang lalaking 'to.
"Bakit mo naman ako hinintay? Sino namang nagsabi sayo? Go away!" He chuckled
"You're being stubborn again."
"You're being annoying again! And I hate it!"
