A/N: Hey guys! Yup, we're doing this. It's about time this knight get with someone. It is a reader x rwby story after all. So, as I have made pretty clear, you are going to get paired up with Pyrrha. So, she's gonna drop hints, then you'll be a dense protagonist and it'll all work out in the end... that sounds about right.

Yami: This couldn't be more cliche.

A/N: I know, and I have no regerts... okay, I have one now...

Yami: Now that's new. Purposeful typos?

A/N: Yeah... purposeful... Enjoy!

Pyrrha's POV

I was sitting in class, listening to Y/N talk about elemental magic and how to infuse our weapons with it.

Y/N: Now, I'll need a volunteer to help demonstrate the spell. Pyrrha, could you come up here?

Pyrrha: Yes sir.

I walked up to the front of the room and Y/N handed me a long sword and a talisman.

Y/N: So, hold out the talisman and focus on the enchantment spell. Imagine the power passing through you and into the sword. Then, pass the talisman over the blade.

I did what he said and once I was focused, I hovered the talisman over the blade and passed it down the length of the blade. As I reached the end, the sword lit up with a blue, purple glow.

Y/N: Well done! That is the Darkmoon Blade. I'm impressed you got it on your first attempt.

I smiled and handed the blade back to him. He took it and sheathed it before it disappeared.

Y/N: Now, to end the class, I'm going to demonstrate what we will be learning tomorrow.

Y/N put up his hand and it set fire. A small fire sat in his palm as he stood there. He then brought up his and and black flames started to form around it. He launched his hand down into the ground and a trail of black fire shot away from him.

Y/N: That was one of many pyromancies. Black Serpent. I will be teaching you the basic pyromancies next time I see you all. That's all for today.

Everyone got up and began to leave. It was the end of the day, so everyone was probably going to their dorms to do work or relax. Since I didn't have anything to do, I stayed behind to talk with Y/N.

Pyrrha: So, is anything going to change now that the other knights are here?

Y/N: Likely, though I'm not sure what to expect. I can only hope for the best.

Pyrrha: So, um... t-there's a dance coming up soon... I was, uh... I was wondering... if you'd like to go with me?

Y/N turned to face me and looked at me with a shocked look on his face.

Y/N: Y-You want me to join you at the dance?

Pyrrha: Yes.

Y/N: I'm afraid I don't know anything about dances.

Pyrrha: You didn't have dancing in your world?

Y/N: We do, but I always avoided the dances to train my swordsmanship. There was a regular ball held at the castle for anyone to join, but I never went.

Pyrrha: I could teach you...

Y/N: Why not ask someone you are more acquainted with? Why ask me?

Pyrrha: W-Well, I uh... I just thought... I-I thought you could take me to the dance as thanks for all the things I did to help you before...

Y/N: So, to settle a debt? Wouldn't that be a waste?
