Miles opened his door, ready to get out of the car. But Jax just sat there, staring at the building where he had came multiple times to see Miles.

Miles turned his head and saw Jax just sitting there. He gestured towards the door beside Jax. "Miles, I'm scared," Jax said with a tear appearing in his eye.

Miles placed his hand on Jax's. "Everything's going to be fine. I promise."

Jax nodded and got out of the car. When Jax stood up from the car, he was hit with another sudden rush of dizziness. Miles saw this and ran to his side. "I'm okay, Miles. I promise." Jax said as Miles was holding him up.

Jax pushed himself off the car and started to walk towards the doctor's office. "Hey," Miles called out, "you know I love you right?" Jax stood there dumbfounded.

"Yeah. I love you too," Jax responded after a few seconds of awkward silence. Miles giggled, walked up to Jax, placed his arm around his shoulders, and walked into the building.

The lady at the front desk perked up as they walked in. The room was full of people, kids and parents mostly. The thought of coming here every week scared Jax. He walked up to the lady at the front desk.

"Can I help you?" The secretary said in a very sweet voice.

Jax smiled and responded, "Um, Jax Gardner. I have an appointment at 4." The lady scrolled through pages on her computer.

"Ah yes," the secretary said, "here you are. Where is your parent?" She asked.

Jax stood there for a second. "Um, she couldn't come."

The lady nodded. "Ok honey. Go take a seat." Jax did as he was told and went to sit next to Miles. When he sat down, his leg was shaking. Miles looked down at his leg, and placed his hand on Jax's knee.

"It's scary, Jax. I know that it is. But just remember, I'm going to be here through it all." Miles said, trying to calm Jax down. Jax smiled and nodded, trying his hardest not to show how scared he was.

A nurse opened the door. She held her clipboard tightly. Jax noticed her hands shaking, and could tell it was her first day. "Jax Gardner?" The nurse said. Jax stood up and Miles did the same.

The nurse gestured towards a little room. The room had a few chairs, a long counter with a computer, and some medical things. The nurse walked in and set down her clipboard. "Please take a seat." She looked nervous but sounded in control.

Jax did as he was told. Miles took a step into the room and stood in the corner. The nurse wrote something down on the clipboard. She took Jax's vitals. She typed the information on the computer, then lead Jax and Miles out if that room and into another.

This room had a bed, a counter with a sink and jars, and a little folding table that was attached to the wall and had another computer on top. Jax sat down on the bed and Miles stood in the corner. "The doctor will be in soon," the nurse said and left.
