Time Jump - 6th period

Sitting through class on a regular day was hard enough, let alone while a sense of impending doom hanging over you. Every second felt like an hour.

Miles and Jax we're sitting in Mr. Park's class when Jax started feeling nauseous. He raised his hand, the other over his mouth. Park saw Jax and nodded his head. Jax got out of the room and to the bathroom as fast as possible.

He ran to the stall farthest from the door, locked it, and kneeled down in front of the porcelain goddess, waiting for the flood gates to open. He sat there for five minutes before he realized nothing was going to happen.

As he was about to get up, he saw feet standing in front of the stall door. "Jax, are you ok," Miles asked, placing his ear against the door. Jax stood up and unlocked the door.

"I think I'm ok. I never puked which is good." Miles nodded and pick Jax's bag of the floor. Jax smiled and grabbed his bag from Miles.

"Durani said for me to take you home," Miles told Jax an he started towards the door. The two walked to their lockers to get their things. "We might as well just head to your doctor's since there's only 10 minutes till the bell." Jax just nodded his head and closed his locker.

Jax and Miles talked until they heard the bell ring. They both rush out of the door and to Miles' car. "Well, time for the worst time of my life," Jax said with a sigh. Miles stuck the key into the ignition and started the car.

The drive to the doctor's office was the only thing that went by quick. As they pulled into the parking lot, they saw a familiar face standing at the door, about to walk in. Neither of them could place it. They both shrugged it off as Miles parked the car.

They both got out of the car and walked into the building. Jax signed in and went to wait. When Miles looked up from his phone, he saw the same girl from the parking lot. "Dude, I know where we know her from," Miles said, turning to Jax.

Jax looked at the girl. "Dude that's Brooke Taylor, aka Kaylee on The Underside of Forever, she's in the drama and music program at Keaton. She doesn't talk to anyone," Jax replied with a giant grin. "I'm kind of like her biggest fan." Miles chuckled.

Brooke looked over at them and smiled. She grabbed her purse off of the ground. Her long, dark red hair laid elegantly on her shoulders. Her makeup was flawlessly applied to her tan face.

She immediately went and sat in front of the two boys. Jax sat with his mouth gaped open. Miles hit him on the arm and asked, "Brooke Taylor, to what do I owe the pleasure?"

Brooke chuckled. "Please just Brooke. I'm not like Beyonce or something. And, I just wanted to get to know some of the people from Keaton." Jax still looked like a deer in the headlights. Brooke looked over at him and giggled, "You must be Jax and Miles, music program."

Miles nodded his head. Just then, Jax's name was called. "Well nice to officially meet you. See you at school," Miles asked. Brooke nodded her head. As Miles and Jax walked towards the nurse, another nurse called Brooke's name. When she got to the door, she pulled off her wig, revealing and bald head underneath.

Hey guys! Sorry for the slow update. I had the worst case of writer's block. So I have a question. Should I do longer chapters? I feel like my chapters are short. Don't forget to vote and comment anything 😊
