As Jax slept he buried his face into Miles' chest. Jax tossed and turned in his sleep. Saturday had been rough.

"Do you need me to go with you," Miles asked. Jax stared at the house he once called home. He shook his head. "If you need me, call me."

Jax opened the door and got out of the car. He walked to his house and pulled his key out of his pocket. As he turned the key, his father opened the door. "Hey dad, I just ne-"

His father grabbed his arm and whipped him into the house. He slammed the door shut. "Your stuff is packed upstairs. Go get it. NOW!" His father let go of his arm and Jax went as fast as he could upstairs. He grabbed his already packed bag, his laptop, and the bear Miles gave him after he hurt his knee playing soccer.

Jax went back downstairs. "Put your stuff down." Jax did as he was told. His father slapped him hard across the face. Jax stumbled backwards and braced himself on the wall. "That's for making your mother leave," he slapped him again. "And that's for ruining my life. The day you were born was the worst day of my entire life."

Jax picked his bag off the ground and ran outside. He jumped into Miles' car. Miles didn't ask questions, he just started the car and drove. Miles looked over and saw the red hand print on Jax's face.

"Jax, did he? You know." Jax nodded his head. "I'm so glad that you're out of that house."

Miles tapped Jax awake. Jax pushed his face further into Miles. "Babe you need to get up. You have to take your meds."

Jax giggled. "Ok mom." Jax got off the bed and Miles threw a pillow at him. Jax picked the pillow off the floor and chucked it at Miles. Miles put the pillow back in it's place and went over to Jax.

Jax popped the fours pills in his mouth and swallowed. "Damn, dry swallowing four pills? Even I'm not that good." Jax chuckled. He ran his fingers through to reveal clumps of it in between his fingers. "Oh babe,"

Jax shrugged his shoulders and tossed the hair in the trash. "I knew it was going to happen. I'm fine." Jax walked back into the bedroom and sat on the bed. "Its still upsetting but I'll get over it." Miles placed his hand on Jax's shoulder.

Jax suddenly felt really sick. He covered his mouth with his hand and ran to the bathroom. He lifted the toilet seat and threw up. Miles walked into the bathroom to Jax. Miles crouched down beside Jax and he rubbed Jax's back. "Now you really look like shit."

Jax laughed and pushed himself up against a wall. "I guess I look how I feel." Miles pushed himself and sat next to Jax. "This is gonna be my life for a while."

Miles laid his head on Jax's shoulder. "You're going to get through this. We'll do it together." Jax smiled and Miles lifted his up.

Miles pushed himself up and extended a hand towards Jax. Jax grabbed his hand as Miles lifted him up. They walked back into the bedroom and sat down on the bed.

After a few minutes of silence, Jax's phone rang. He pulled it out of his pocket and checked the caller-id. "It's my doctor," he whispered. "H-hello?"

"Hello, I am speaking to Jax, correct," the doctor asked.

"Yes this is him, what do you need Dr.Morris," Jax asked. The doctor took in a deep breath.

"Jaxon, we need you to come into the hospital right away. We checked your white blood cell count and it was way out of the healthy range. And chemo already affects your immune system so we need to take the proper precautions and place in the hospital where we can watch you."

Jax turned to to Miles and squeezed his hand. "O-ok I will be there in twenty minutes."

"Thank you, and I'm so sorry this is happening to you," and Dr.Morris hung up the phone.

Jax looked over at Miles as a single tear fell down his face. "I'll go tell my mom. She's probably going to want to come with us." Miles let go of Jax's hand and ran downstairs.

Jax sat on the bed in shock. Everything was slowly collapsing around him. Jax looked at the clock on his phone. Twelve hours ago, Jax's family life fell apart. Now, every other aspect is too.

Miles ran back into the room. "My mom said that she has to work so she can't drive us but I can drive you there." Jax just sat there nodding his head. "Hey, everything is going to be ok. You just need to get through the hard bits." Jax nodded his head and laid it on Miles' shoulder.

Jax sighed and got off the bed. "We have to go. He said to get there as soon as pos-," Jax was cut off by blurriness of his vision.  Then, everything went dark.

Hey guys! So, I suck at updating, I know. I've had a lot going with a big showcase that I'm in. I swear I'm gonna try to update ASAP. I want to get three chapters published by the end of next week and it probably won't happen. See ya later!
