When Friday rolled around, Jax was the most scared he had ever been. Nobody at school knew about Jax's "situation" yet so he called this a win. Miles came to pick Jax up for school at 8 o'clock. Jax heard the beep of a car horn outside. He grabbed his bag and ran downstairs, His mom had already left for work so he just went outside to meet Miles. Jax opened the car door and flung himself in.

"Hey Jax," Miles' voice filled the car as he put his car into reverse. Jax smiled and layed his head against the window. Miles shook his head. "So are you prepared for today?" Jax nodded his head. Miles continued to drive as normal, while Jax had to deal with the vice grip tightening around his head. Jax just sat in his seat, staring out the window.

10 minutes passed by and the boys were at school. Jax grabbed his bag and escaped the car. The quicker he could get inside, the quicker the day would be over with. Miles ran into the building one minute after. "Hey Mi, do you have any painkillers," Jax asked, putting his stuff into his locker.

Miles hand Jax a white bottle. "Thanks man." Miles just nodded his head. "Are you mad at me or something," Jax asked with a frown.

Miles sighed. "I'm not mad at you. You seemed kind of angry at me." Jax smirked and layed his hand on Miles' shoulder.

"Why would I be mad at you? You haven't done anything," Jax replied. Miles smiled and Jax felt his heart flutter in his chest. Just then, someone grabbed Jax's shoulder. Both Miles and Jax turned around to see Kit.

Before anyone said anything, Kit pulled Jax into a tight hug. Miles and Jax both just stood there, really confused. Kit pulled herself away and wiped a tear off her face. "My aunt told me," Her voice quaked.

Miles took a step forward and hugged Kit. "I'm happy that I'm not the only one."
