Miles watched as Jax peacefully slept. Miles hadn't slept since Jax was admitted. He always worried that something will happen and he won't be able to stop it. Miles was lost in thought when Jax woke up. "Babe," Jax stretched his arms, "when was the last time you slept," Jax asked.

Miles yawned and placed his hand on Jax's. "Um, the day before you were admitted." Jax raised an eyebrow.

Miles looked up at Jax a smiled. "It's been three days since you slept. Then maybe you should get some sleep," Jax suggested. Miles nodded his head and laid the chair back. Jax pulled out his phone and started playing games. He played Angry Birds for five minutes before he got a text from Bianca.

Bianca: Call me. Now.

Jax dialled Bianca's number and waited for her to pick up. "Hello?"

"Hey B, why did you want me to call you?" Jax and Bianca had broken up four months ago but decided to stay friends.

"When were you going to tell me?" Jax started getting anxious. Bianca had known Jax was pansexual since she had met him.

"Um, tell you what?"

"Don't act dumb. I know about yours and Miles' thing."

Jax let out a sigh of relief. "I was going to tell you but it just happened."

"Well, I'm happy for you two. You wanna know what's happened since you've been out?"

"Sure. What happened?"

"So, Kit came out as bisexual. And you know that girl Brooke? She apparently has cancer. She told the school over the intercom yesterday. And she said she's a lesbian. Who knew?"

It took Jax a minute to process everything Bianca had just said. And he realized, he should tell her about his situation. "B, there's something I should tell you, Brooke isn't the only one who's sick."

After a long pause Bianca responded, "Oh my God, you have, cancer." Jax could hear that Bianca was on the verge of tears. "How long have you known?"

"Since last Wednesday."

"Who knows?"

"Only Kit, Miles, Park, and Durani. And to top it all off, it's brain cancer. And my mom and sister left. And my dad is an abusive jerk so I can't stay with him so I'm staying with Miles. Sorry, I'm ranting."

"No, it's okay. I've got nothing better to do."

"No I'm done. Brooke is a pretty cool chick, huh?"

"Yeah. I got to work with her once on one of my shows. She really nice and funny. Is it bad a just now realized she goes to Keaton?"

"No, she doesn't talk to anyone. I guess everyone is going to talk to her now."

"Yeah. My phone's about to die so can I like come over and keep talking to you?"

Jax sighed. "Um, another thing I haven't told you is that I've been in the hospital since Sunday so...yeah."

"Oh, well tell me your room number and I'll come there."

"Um, sure. It's room 1146. 7th floor I think. Miles is sleeping so be kinda quiet."

"Got it. See ya in a few."

"Yeah, bye." Jax hung up the phone and plugged in the charger. He continued to play games until Bianca knocked on his door. "You may enter."

Bianca walked in wearing sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt. "I know I look like trash but IDC." Jax laughed and set his phone down.

Bianca sat on a stool in the corner of the room. "Cozy, huh," Jax asked sarcastically. "I mean, I would much rather be at home then here, but I'm dealing."

Miles fluttered his eyes open and sat up. "Bianca, I'm guessing he told you about the 'thing' since you're here." Bianca nodded her head. "And let me guess, you told him everything that happened at school while he was out."

Bianca laughed. "You know me so well, Miles." Jax chuckled and laid his bed back. "So Miles, long story short, Brooke told the whole school that she has cancer and that she's a lesbian and Kit came out as bisexual."

Miles widened his eyes in surprise. "Wow, I'm so shocked." Bianca stuck her tongue out at Miles. "I already knew about the Brooke cancer thing but I didn't know she or Kit were not straight."

Bianca looked over at Miles and raised an eyebrow. "How did you know about Brooke?"

Miles stretched his arms out and yawned. "Jax and I ran into her at his first chemo appointment. He fangirled a little too hard when he saw her. It was adorable."

Bianca stifled a laugh and pulled he phone and charger out of her hoodie pocket. "Sounds like Jax," she replied as she plugged her phone into the wall. Jax stuck his tongue out at her. "So, how's everything going mentally wise Jax?"

Jax dropped his smile into a frown. Bianca jumped up in her seat. "Should I not have asked that? I'm so sorry."

Jax looked back up at Bianca and smiled. "No it's fine. I just zoned out for a second." Bianca laughed. "Um, everything's okay mentally. Physically, well, you know." Bianca and Miles both laughed. Jax laughed along with them, then his stomach started hurting. He didn't say anything to Miles or Bianca so he didn't scare them.

Bianca looked up at Jax. "What's wrong?" Miles also looked up at Jax who was pale. "You're pale and you really don't look good."

Jax shook his then a stabbing pain hit him and he clutched his stomach. "My stomach hurts, but it's not that bad," Miles could tell that Jax was lying about the intensity.

Miles started rubbing Jax's back. "You're lying, how bad is it really," Miles asked Jax. Jax looked down at his lap and shook his head. "It's bad, isn't it?"

Jax nodded his head and grabbed his stomach harder. Bianca walked up and grabbed Jax's hand. "Do you want me to get your nurse," Bianca asked. Jax shook his head no. "Just let me know if you do."

After a couple hours, Jax eventually fell asleep. Bianca let go of his hand and went to sit back in her chair. Miles had curled up in the bed with Jax. Bianca grabbed her stuff to leave. "Bianca," Miles asked sleepily, "thanks for being here."

Bianca nodded her head and walked out the door. She took out her phone and texted Kit.

Bianca: Meet me @ the coffee shop in ten

Kit: Okay, see you there

Bianca: Thanks
