"The Greys practically run this hospital now." Mark whines to Derek in the elevator, "What do you mean," Derek laughed in disbelief of what just came out of his ex/ best friends mouth,
"well with Mer's mom announced chief this morning and Meredith still chief resident until the Oral Boards they are a dynamic duo." This enraged Derek, because
1) Why didn't Meredith tell him about her mom becoming Chief and I guess staying?
2) Meredith and Derek was suppose to be the dynamic duo, not her and her ungrateful oblivious ass mother who isn't worth a crap in everything but surgery.
Derek got of on a unexpected floor and marched his way across the beautiful cat walks and to the Chiefs office, he saw Ellis and Decided that Meredith was worth what he he was about to do next..
He knocked harshly on the door and went in without acceptance but he was greeted by a unwanted and traumatizing site. Derek immediately covered his eyes and said, "Doctor Webber may I speak with the Chief privately and preferably with her clothes on?" The ironic ness of the whole situation tumbled in Derek's mind, about how him and Meredith was walked in on moments before this experience.
After Webber left Derek began with a heated argument, "Nothing she does is good enough for you, if she got asthma you blame her for having shitty lungs. If you needed a kidney she give you one but you'd say you magically grew It all by yourself!"
"I'm hard on her because I want her to succeed, to become extraordinary-" Derek cut her off, "Yes because you, yourself is so extraordinary, huh, being a great mother did something to you right?"
Meredith rounded the corner about to confront her mother herself but when she heard their heated commotion she decided to let Derek take this bullet for her.
A|N I'm sorry I know this one is a littler shorter but I just got home and am drained! But I want you to go check out another story I'm starting, it's about if Derek's death was faked by the government until he could manage the brain mapping to a completment. Once he heard Meredith say she could live without him but she didn't want to made him feel ready for this step he made for his family, but how will he introduce himself back. And how will they welcome?
