Roman was laying on his hospital bed, looking up at Virgil. He smiled at his boyfriend.

Virgil smiled and sighed as he looked at his sick partner. "You feeling okay?"

Roman smiled. "I mean I'm still here." He teased.

Virgil smirked. "Not funny."

"Well you're smiling." Roman sighed and laid back.

Virgil sighed and sat next to him. He took his boyfriend's hand and placed a kiss on his knuckles.

"Who'd believe that we two would end up as lovers?"  Virgil sighed.

Roman cocked a brow. "Do you want me to reply?"

"Him and me, you and I passionately lovers." He continued.

Roman looked up at his boyfriend. "Please don't get morbid."

Virgil chuckled. "Right."

"It's just-"

"Don't fight." Virgil said.

"That I haven't died yet." Roman chuckled.

"Just stop it."

"I'm sick, but kicking." He smirked as he laid his head on Virgil's shoulder.

"Geez." Virgil sighed.

"Alright."

"Louise." Virgil smirked.

"Good night." Roman smiled.

Virgil turned to face him. "I'm staying here, in this spot. Whether you want me to or not. I'm staying."

He placed a kiss on Roman's forehead. "Here I am, by your side. One old horny lover." He chuckled.

"Please go home and don't be scared." Roman smiled reassuringly.

Virgil shrugged. "What's the fuss? I'm not scared. What good is a lover who's scared?"

Roman sighed. "C'mon."

"Hit me if you need to. Slap my face or hold me till winter."

Virgil leant down and placed a kiss on the man's lips.

He smiled. "Oh baby, please do."

Roman mouthed an 'I love you' followed by a cough.

"I love you, too, my lover." Virgil smiled.

Roman sighed. "Virgil, just go home and turn on TV. Drink a little something till you're dead. Think of me around sleeping soundly in our bed."

Virgil remained silent.

Roman nudged him slightly. "Virgil, did you hear what I said?"

Virgil turned and laid next to his sick lover. "Shut your mouth, go to sleep. Time I met a sailor." He chuckled.

He looked at Roman. "Are you sleeping yet or what? Roman, but I can't help the feeling that I've failed."

Roman kissed his forehead as he continued. "Let's be scared together. Let's pretend that nothing is awful."

"There's nothing to fear." Roman reassured.

Virgil nodded and sighed. "There's nothing to fear."

Roman let out a cough and pulled Virgil closer. "Just stay right here."

Virgil nodded. "Okay." He placed a kiss on his head.
