________

Patton smiled as he stood next to Logan. He looked around at all of their friends and family that had come.

He looked over to Logan and placed a kiss on his lips.

As they pulled apart, Logan smiled. "I love you."

Patton smiled. "I love you too."

They both looked up at the stage as Patton's brother, Thomas had stepped up. He took his wine glass and tapped on it to get everyone's attention.

Once everyone was quiet, he started to speak. "Ok ok everyone give it up for the best man, Virgil Sanders!"

He gestured to the side of the stage where they saw Virgil stepping up. Everyone clapped and Virgil smiled.

He tapped his own wine glass and started to speak. "This is to my brother and Logan as they enter the next chapter of their lives together."

Patton smiled at him as he continued.

Virgil smiled. "A toast to the groom!"

The people clapped again.

"And to the other groom!" Virgil chuckled.
"From your brother who is always by your side!"

More clapping as he raised his glass.

"To your union!" He continued.

Some soldiers in the back cheered. "To the Revolution!"

Virgil smiled. "And the hope that you provide."
He looked over to where Patton was.

Virgil smiled at his brother and raised his glass. "May you always be satisfied!"

At that the clapping started to fade as Virgil got flashbacks to that night.

That wonderful and dreaded night.

I remember that night i just might regret that night for the rest of my days.

He remembered the music playing, the rebels at the bar.

I remember those soldier boys, tripping over themselves to win our praise.

I remember that dream-like candle light, like a dream that you can't quite place.

He felt the flutter in his chest as he remembered seeing the handsome stranger walk through the door.

But, Logan Sanders, I'll never forget the first time I saw your face.

I have never been the same.
Intelligent eyes in a hunger-pang frame.

He remembered the feeling well. He stuttered slightly when talking to the stranger.

And when you said 'Hi' I forgot my dang name.

He remembered how Logan made him feel.

Set my heart aflame, every part aflame.
This is not a game.

He remembered seeing Logan at the bar. Logan had walked up to him. He could remember the sensation of the heat in his cheeks.

"You strike me as a man who has never been satisfied." Logan said.

Virgil had smirked. "I'm sure I don't know what you mean. You forget yourself."

Logan chuckled. "You're like me. I'm never satisfied."
