Alex rested her head on Patrick's shoulder as they sat on a bench. She had agreed to skip with him for one period only since he was so keen on doing it.
It was the last period of the day, so they didn't have much to worry about. They had a good twenty minutes left, so they just spent it hanging out together.
She had her eyes closed and an arm wrapped around his torso.
He'd only let her do this when no one else was around, and this was that time.
Taking a deep sigh she leaned into him a bit more. Eyeing her, he sighed and moved closer and (totally didn't) cuddle her.
She jumped as the last bell rang and a few straggling kids walked out the front gates shortly after, slowly followed by groups. The buses already started pulling up front so the air quickly filled with the smell of exhaust turning the air hot.

She was the one to see Bill leave first followed by Richie, Eddie, and Stan. Seeing them, Patrick gave a smile and stood up. It caught Alex off guard, causing her to almost hit her head on the bench. She scoffed.

"Who doesn't love splashing around in shitty water?" Richie said as Patrick grabbed the back of his backpack and pulling him backwards. Richie fell into Bill, who fell into Stan and they went toppling over like a group of pins.

Patrick bent over Stan and snatched his Kippah off of his head. Stan reached for it as he held it out of his reach and smiled.
"Nice frisbee, flamer," he said as he threw it into the path of a moving bus.

Alex rolled her eyes. "Stop it, will you?" He ignored her and continued to torment the Losers.
She raised an eyebrow at his sudden ignorance.

"Patrick," she said in a singsongy voice. Still ignored.

She stood up and huffed with a bit of anger and annoyance.

"Hey! Pattycake! Stop!"

He turned around as Richie snickered, trying his hardest not to burst out laughing and get beaten up.

So.
