"Alright, s-see you i-in t-ten."You gave a hum in response and hung up. Walking to your room, the realization hit you.
Shit, he's actually coming over.
Your parents were asleep and you prayed with every bit of you that he wouldn't ring the doorbell.

You laughed quietly as you helped yourself to a cookie. "I can't believe this is actually happening."
"Y-yeah me n-neither," he said handing you a cup with a straw in it. You eyed it. "What's that?" He shrugged. "J-j-just lemonade. Nuh-no big d-deal." Slowly, you took the cold glass, brushing his hand a little. It was probably the best lemonade you'd had in your whole life. You turned the straw to him and let him have some as well. You ended up sharing lemonade in silence for a good five minutes before it was finished.
After you set the glass on the floor, you whispered, "oh wait!" You practically bounced off the couch and ran into the kitchen.
He craned his neck to see around the doorway as he heard the freezer door open for a few seconds, then close with a soft slam.
You sat back down on the couch with two red popsicles, handing him one.
"Just open it quietly, okay?" He nodded. That didn't work, but it didn't really matter since your parents were heavy sleepers anyway. And everything sounded louder when it was quiet. They were cherry flavored and slightly stuck to your tongue. But either way, they were good.
"Okay, b-be honest, is it b-b-bad?"
He stuck his tongue out, it almost being blood red.
You laughed as he retracted his tongue. "No, but mine is just as bad, see?"
He nodded lightly at your equally bright tongue. He relaxed into the couch as you leaned against him, enjoying the comfortable silence.
"Do you enjoy hanging out with me?" you whispered.
"Yeah, why?" he asked.
"Just making sure," you sighed.
"Otherwise I would've told you to get goin a long time ago."
"Oh my lord, Bill...."
