Now BeFoRe you attack me remember, this is a completely platonic friendship between the reader and Georgie. Also sorry for not updating for so long.Bill had called you and ask if you wanted to babysit Georgie. Since you loved Georgie oh so very much, you said yes. Your mom said to do your chores before they left for the afternoon and to take him somewhere fun.
The second she left the house the perfect idea for a get out popped into your head.
Ice cream.

"Okay, that'll be $8.00," said the woman at the desk. Handing the money to her you saw the layout of her office. It was mostly dark with a desk fan and papers strewn everywhere. Who knew that a city pool employee had to do paperwork.
"Alright Georgie, let's go," you said while he licked his quickly melting ice cream cone. He was wearing a dark grey shirt with a pair of black swim trunks, and some sandals. The pool was close to empty, so there were no worries about finding a place to set your stuff.
You'd brought towels from home and set them on two beach chairs. He was about to walk off and get in the water when you stopped him.
"Get back here. You thought you'd get away from me with sunscreen didn't you."
Groaning he spun back around. He protested as you smothered it onto his face.
"Unless you want peeling skin I suggest you let me put this on."Not long after he was swimming and splashing you with water as you tried to not get soaked. "George Denbrough, you stop it right now."
Just to test you he splashed you again.Standing up from the scorching plastic seat, you moved your stuff so it wouldn't get wet. "Oh, you just started something you can't finish."
Running off the hot pavement that turned to wet concrete you cannonballed into the water."I'm gonna get you, Denbrough!"
